The only point that I disagree poppa is that I benefit from preorders because I take your money before I make the units. But as I have already said, my sellers pay me just 2-3 days before I ship. So I dont have your money in my hand, I use my money to produce the units. Your money are on my sellers hands.
Preorders were made to serve you, not me
next time my sellers will pay me while production is running, because only small amounts of money must come to my bank account every 2-3 days. I cant accept big amounts at once. So they will pay me a little by little not because I need money but because of bank accounts issues.
All those 4 years that I am with you I didnt use your money to produce GG. It would be not bad to do it like this, but I didnt.
Our first result of Ithaka is, that he works very well and my Odysseus is out of the race in the moment.
There are 2 setups that I've tested.
Single coil, Flat wire 0.5x1.0mm, 2.0 Ohm, 2x 3mm wick, kicked 10 Watt
Dual coil, 0.15mm wire, 1.5 Ohm, 3mm wick each, 4.2 V
Both setups work very well. Dual coil has much more flash. Vape is great with both.

I talked to COV about this issue 2 months ago Ami and he told me that he cant do it in another way. His whole site is based on this 10% discount. I dont have any reason to not believe Bruce about this.

Wow, so your sellers take hundreds of thousands of dollars and invest that money by holding it for 4 months...properly invested can make money on it and YOU don't even get to use this for your start up of the product????
So why can't we list our commitment to purchase and then pay a couple of weeks before you are ready to be done with the product??? Why should your resellers make 20% of the sales AND be able to collect on the investment of the holdings???
I had to borrow on credit cards to fund this one. I paid interest for 4 months on those credit cards (my choice) and your sellers gained interest for holdings....wow...
leaving now to go pick my jaw up off the floor....

I'm personally tired of the "middle man" whomever that be.. cov or otherwise... i was a really adopter of gg years ago. I have purchased a bunch from cov over the last 5 years. I pre ordered the Ody and had no problem with the wait.. because it was clearly expected. This time for my notification from cov on ithaka was not clear at all but I fell for it and paid. Soon to figure out it was a pre order. I canceled and got my refund from cov. I will do without ithaka.... it's a principle thing for me and I'm stubborn lol.

Example: mm vapor order for some parts I needed was here within a week. Ordered directly from them. Even if I would have had to wait longer it would still have been okay. But it was a simple order directly to the maker. It seems to me this would also be more profitable for the maker.
I will miss my chance to visit with ithaka.

I am making half the money because I have sellers ohman. And I have sellers because I cant do this job properly together with GG constructions. Thats why I want to have exellent sellers. I do my job and sellers have to do their job

There was no need to have my money tied up with a reseller for 4 months when I could have had the same results by paying 2-3 weeks ago vs 4 months ago.

Much thanks and respect to Imeo. You are doing damage control for a situation you didn't create. Bruce should have explained situation to pre-orders before Vapebash, but that mistake is past. Your sincerity and commitment to your customers is appreciated. I look forward to the arrival of my Ithakas, but I think you should consider doing a long pre-order for your GGTS run-- I don't want to miss out on a virgin GGTS because I'm camping.

When running a business the customer must feel that he is being respected! If he or she feels disrespected they will not do business with the particular company and go elsewhere! Many people who pre-purchased now feel disrespected by Bruce and Justin at COV. This is a very bad business decision on their part and the ramifications of such decisions will manifest itself in the future.

Ok, so I want to be clear with this Imeo. The money that was paid in the pre order back in Dec was not given to you until 2 or 3 days before shipping, correct? If so, that means you used your own money for the production of Ithaka, correct?
If I am reading what you said and have interpreted it correct, than COV has had all our money sitting in a bank account getting interest from that this whole time!
And Justin had the nerve to say they had to sell Ithakas at VB to cover their costs incurred by changing flights, what about the interest money gained with our money!?!?

Whatever happened, has happened. Imeo has voiced his opinion that I fully respect and understand.
For me who already pre-ordered with COV, the main thing is to get the shipping notification within Monday or Tuesday of next week. The last thing I want to hear is that there is not enough Ithaka to fill all the pre-orders. So I will reserve the Ultimate judgement until then.
In the future it is up to everyone's choice to either place another pre-order with COV or others dealers like e-smokeguru. For me it is easy as I live in Canada and there is no authorized dealer in here, so I can literally buy from any authorized dealers without worrying about territorial rights if there is such a covenant in their agreement.
