I feel sorry for all of you that are waiting on your Ithaka's. I guarantee you that you will love as I love mine. It looks so sexy and performs really well (it don't mean I will put my Ody down....no way), I've ordered another one from e-smokeguru but ain't paid yet. My card was blocked as their was fraud in my account 
but got a new card just today
Can't wait to get it and do a different setup.
As for Bruce, only he can explain what has happened and we should all wait for that. But does he know what century we are in? There's so many smartphones about and I'm sure he has one. He could get on this forum and check what's going on and apologise. All his doing is making his reputation suffer. Wake up BRUCE.
IMEO, will you do a run of Ody's? I'd love to get a brand spanking new Ody, Ithaka might be the newer version but like I found out, Ithaka doesn't like some juices or the juices don't like Ithaka lol

Hi just reading all the comments about Ithaka and COV it's to bad to hear this news but I am not sure I will jump to conclusion's until I hear something official from Bruce at COV. Iam in Canada and pre ordered 4 months ago to so it takes longer to get to me can't wait ! The only thing I will say is next week my Ithaka will be mailed out to me it's been a long wait to try another one of Imeo wonderful creations and I can't wait for the next one to. Thanks Imeo for the hard work and everyone here for helping with my vaping problems.

Cov Bruce I am sorry guys. I truly wanted to ship fast and get ithaka to you. With over 1000 people at Bash I knew many would want their orders and pick them up there. Most were left at COV since we started shipping there too. I did bring about 20 ithaka that were refunds. This was not done to upset you, but to get the product from me to you faster. As for customs, I spent a sleep less night working to get it processed faster. If anyone wants to refund their order, I will do so at your request.

It is better for him to put up a Locked Stickie for this or bcc all the pre-order customers as he should have all our email addresses. But apology is one thing as I have mentioned previously in my post, I just want to see a shipping notification in the next few days. This thing will subside and everyone will move on.

. It's a business tactic used by many retailers here in the US to make people think they are 'getting a deal' although anyone can google '135 Euro to USD' and see that the price should be $176.57 USD, based on today's exchange rates. Americans love their coupons.
I am taking my family to the beach today. I am going to watch my children play and I am going to focus on what we are really here for. This has me so insulted and infuriated that I need to get away from it for a while.
I will decide if there is anything to gain by requesting a refund and then buying another from the classys or foreign sellers.

One thing I am sure of is you don't deserve this. I am truly sorry that after all you do for us that you get thrown into this mess. I agree with the preorder system, as you know I have expressed to you many times. I do wish that $ was gaining interest in your bank instead of the resellers. I hope this arrangement is not part of the resellers compensation for selling your products.
We will always support you as you do more for us and you are a brilliant man.

On a happier note, I got my preorder on Wednesday from Vassilis at e-smokeguru. Liked it so much have bought another which is now on it's way.

I'm probally going to get crucified for this one but here's a scenario that I'm sure no one considered before the inquisition started... What if.... Just what if the shipment came in late wed or early Thursday, and with Justin and Bruce going to be at vape bash and not going to be able to ship anything anyway until they return from Chicago, why not grab a handful and bring them along, especially during the excitement of having them released from customs, which I know we can all relate to... And being able to display a brand new release at huge event that I have been planning for for months, of course my first thought wouldn't be about who I'm going to piss off, it would be who I could make happy.... I've had quite a few dealings with Bruce personally as I live about twenty miles away and I can say for sure that it wasn't done maliciously but more than likely a spur of the minute decision which we can all be a victim of. The only thing I would of done differently would maybe be the cool your jets comment, but if someone was assassinating the character of my uncle I would of had some choice words as well I sure as hell want my ithaka as well but I for one can wait a few more days
I don't think anyone has a probem with some Ithakas having gone to Vape Bash. That's fine. It would have been better to leave someone behind to start shipping them, but that's not the point. The problem here is that the choice was made to not say anything to people who pre-ordered months ago, and to go ahead and sell these 20 spare Ithakas to anyone who walked up, allowing those people to have Ithakas in their hands while those of us waiting were told nothing, and still don't have them.
No matter how important it was for everyone at CoV to be in Chicago this weekend, it's not right to sell Ithakas before pre-orders are shipped. It's not fair to the people who have waited so long for them. They could have easily waited to sell them until ours were shipped, but apparently $3,600 was more important to them than their integrity and their commitment to their loyal customers. It's still something nobody at CoV has really talked about; they just keep echoing this "we wanted to get them to you fast" line that doesn't address why they thought it was acceptable to sell Ithakas before shipping pre-orders.
The people who paid in December deserved to get theirs first, and trusted CoV to make sure that happened. Selling to others first, and putting them ahead of pre-orders, was unacceptable, and it concerns me that both Bruce and Jusin's responses seem to brush that off as if it is a minor point.

What if he left Justin home so that someone was available to contact all the people waiting, pack up everyone's goodies, and either catch a later flight or just stayed home and took care of business? Let me answer that...nobody wanted to miss a good time and looking important.
COV had to bring Ithaka. As the exclusive dealer in the U.S., they would stand to benefit from the representation of GG at Bash. Maybe Bruce should have disclosed that the Ithaka has arrived, but he didn't. He made a business decision and that's that. We'll all have our Ithaka's really soon and I'm pretty sure that this will all go away when everyone is enjoying their new machine.
So you think it's fine that they thought it was cool to sell Ithakas to people who hadn't pre-ordered? To give them priority on the items we've been waiting for since the end of last year? I certainly don't.
Taking them to show would have been fine, though a quick "we have them" update would have been appropriate. But they didn't just take them there to show, they took them there to sell, while we still wait. Making money off the spares was more important to them than their commitment to people who had pre-ordered, and that's clearly wrong.

Guys I feel sorry for you. I would be ...... off the same way if this happened to me. But believe me it is much better than my experience with a JBox, which I ordered and paid last August and nothing since then. The very well known vendor, a pillar of community is not answering the mails, neither refunds anybody paying USD 250+...
The price at vape bash is 180 US based on the converter I am using that is 137 euros. The price for pre sale was 197 but COV always has 10% off which would have made it 177.30 for the pre order. Which again according to the calculator I am using today is 135 euro.
I had thought of another system my dear Jojo. People pay half of the money first and the rest of the money before my shipment. But I am afraid that this will be a nightmare for the sellers
