I took a pic of the smaller nut. It's a page back MikeK. You're right Ariel I hadn't checked the torque on that longer nut but it was pretty snug when I took it out. I'm a tinkerer so I'm sure I'll end up with that long nut back in there at some point to retry it. Lol.

some times and for some reason, the liquid while it blows up, goes inside the center post and you experience a noise like gurgling xtreme

Imeo what was your idea behind the long the nut? I'm having gurgling but I don't want to miss something you designed for a reason.

Guys, I have to tell you that justGG is maybe my last approach on mechanical devices. I will work only on updates for GG series from now on. Its time to move on electronics, thats why I am making Proteus and I hope really soon I will have made VIR too. Also I am thinking of other devices that will be semi-mechanical. I would like to not tell you right now what I mean by "semi-mechanical", I am still thinking more about it.

hitting the coil from small distance and also letting air to be like a thin cylinder and not like a cone, so to hit the coil in a better way aal. I will try to upload a pic to show you what I mean

Interesting. I have been using both, I don't mind either one if they're nicely crafted. Current mechanicals have the edge in looks, size and ability to handle low ohms over variable volt devices. I don't know what Imeo has in mind, but I'm sure it will be something we'll all be talking about. In my opinion, the next step will be to greatly reduce the size of the electronics on VV devices (they're ridiculously large) and to simplify, re-think how to feed atomizers (perhaps get rid of coils, wicks as we know them - i.e. a heating module positioned on the head of the mod), all while improving the vaping experience.

PS 1: Just brain storming here, but a semi-mechanical mod could be a device that uses a small electronic board to cut off / warn the user for low battery power (i.e. at 3.4 volts), has a built in, re-usable fuse and possibly an ohm meter. What would be even cooler is if Imeo could use the Lego-style build of GG products so that the section with the board and small screen (if it has an ohm meter) could be removed from the mod and replaced with a pure mechanical head. A VV device would simply add the ability to tune in volts and/or watts.

PS 2: I'd like to ask Imeo what caused the changed of heart in regards to VV mods; and what is his personal experience from the use of both kinds of devices (I wouldn't mind if he told us which ones he's used too :) Hopefully I'm not asking all these questions while you're on vacation :p

Hi My Friend, When you say VIR, I assume it would be variable voltage, and that would be great, but in your opinion, when might that be a reality? In 6 months? I have just ordered two GG's for my wife and myself, and if it will be much further in the future, I will be happy to have even more of my collection, what about your thoughts on Ithakas, would you still have the same thinking as the mods and just update that one, I don't know how you could make a more perfect product than the Ithaka, except to go wild and make a ceramic that takes four separate wicks, just joking Imeo...

Ah interesting.. I do have an Ithaka but would love a second one to experiment with coils on.. But I did just preorder a JustGG as well.. Definitely want it, just not sure if I have the money! So tempting!!

The wise decision is... not to inform other modders my friend :)

I dont use VV devices at all Mist, thats why I am finding all the time ways to make atomizers work better and better on mechanical devices.
As for the reason that I changed my mind, its because we did all things we had to do on mechanical devices. We made venting holes invisible, we made telescope, we made AD control, we made mechanical adapters, we made a mechanical button, engraving, two tone e-cig, sections, movable center pin in 2 ways, the 4 in 1 connector etc. There is no roon any more for improvements on mechanical devices but there is plenty of room on electronic devices

Ithaka cant be improved to my opinion nos. It can do everything. When I say that I will make updates for the existing GG devices, I mean those devices that can be updated. As for VIR, its not a VV module but proteus electronic part will be able to fit on GGTS

I personally know that most modders are waiting for me to announce something so they can try to make it first. It has happened so many times stelioss. But those days are off.
