Thanks for the info Ariel...but that more complicated than I anticipated. I wasn't looking for a "larger" tank just a clear (plastic) to replace the stock setup.

Ken

I didn't understand well the question :(

You want a sinlge clear body for Ithaka?

Kir Fanis has clear bodies for Odysseus (different sizes), maybe those could work on Ithaka.

Man, I think USPS lost my Ithaka package that I bought from COV.
The tracking has not been updated since the 20th...I've been waiting to complete my GGTS with the Ithaka for so long!!

Don't sweat it. USPS is apparently recycling their tracking numbers. I've received 5 different packages in the last 6 days. Not one was accurate. Even expected delivery date was off by a day. Usually it's next day after. It will probably just surprise you one day.

Get the Kir fanis 27mm ody clear tank. It would fit nicely with appropriate dimensions. It replaces the engraved ring, clear body and upper tube.

Hey Imeo I am a new GG user and recently pic'd up an Ithaka. Its beautiful and am looking forward to using it.

BTW r there any large clear tanks available to replace the lower, middle clear, and upper tank sections?

an experiment will solve our questions kill:)
I've seen this done on Ody some time ago. Not two separate coils, but two strands of different gauge wire twisted together with a single coil. It was somewhere in this forum quite a while ago

I'd be curious how well it worked with two separate coils, though I suspect it may not be ideal since one coil will burn hotter than the other.

I'm confused (what's new?) ... on my Ithaka, when I refill I close the mouthpiece flow control, but the juice control slots on the basic feeding ring around the ceramic housing are in the "full open" position centered right over the wick channels (I vape VG-based e-liquids). Earlier posts have mentioned having the basic feeding closed during refilling, but I don't understand this ... how can one have the basic feeding ring fully closed to refill and then open it back up again after filling?

keep the basic feeding closed, refill, put the big cap, then the small cap. No flooding at all that way Jiv:)

Thanks Imeo, is there a way to do it with the basic feeding open? Maybe by turning it upside down and unscrewing the entire tank?

I refill my Ithakas (that are configured with the basic feeding opened for both channels) by unscrewing the small top cap, as Mev007 does.

I do not use needle tipped bottle. No leaking or flooding problems. :)

I am really glad to hear this eratik, be well my good friend:)
Also after some days of use, please try the small nut inside ceramic. You will have even better results
I apologize if this has already been answered, but did the latest batch ship with this new, smaller nut installed? Or was it supposed to come with the Ithaka? If so I either lost it in unpacking the atty or it didn't make it into my package.

No, the smaller nut comes packaged in a separate plastic bag. I had forgotten about this smaller nut and had almost thrown it away. Luckily, I noticed the extra bag when picking up all my vapemail debris.

Does anyone have a pic handy of this EXTRA NUT being used? I'd like to see this before i toy with it later tonight to install it. I'm getting gurgling and sometimes drawing in juice.

Also, I get a really tite draw with the air control wide open. It seems like a vacuum effect that gets tighter as i continue to inhale. or maybe my lungs just get more tired as I keep trying to take hits from it

Drat. I looked through everything too. Guess it's time to move the couch and check under the cushions. hopefully it didn't get stuck to a piece of tape or something . . .
