So i just rebuilt my Ithaka and the mouthpiece is super loose as I thread it on the ceramic housing
. It really juggles around until I put on the top 2 pieces then its just vertical play i haven't ever dropped it or anything the only thing I've done different is cleaned everything with a toothbrush last weekend ugh so no one else has this issue?? I mean its not a Hugh deal it doesn't affect the performance at all I just don't understand why it started doing this. I have a mouthpiece for drip tips coming from COV I suppose I'll just have to try that one on when it comes in and see if I have the same issue if I don't its the mouthpiece if not then its the housing either one is a bummer since my Ithaka is fairly new and I'm guessing this isn't normal since I've not seen anyone else post about it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
Just to check I took the top cap off (with o-ring) & then mine is too. With cap screwed on its very stable-no looseness.
Ahh thats a relief to be honest because the vertical play is minimal I wouldn't even call it a mm but you pull that cap off and boy it flops all around lol
I'm glad it's not just me. I had to brush 80% of the outer housing because I couldn't stop obsessing over the fingerprints . Though it looks very nice I must say

I don't know guys mine is solid as a rock with no caps attached. Any chance you have a clone?
I do fiddle with the juice control constantly and I just switched to 2mm silica from 3mm maybe that has something to do with it?
Mine came from COV too. No problem with mine I just pulled top cap to check. It's plenty solid assembled.
I also cleaned it inside and out with toothbrush and toothpaste so maybe the threads are just super clean....shoot I dunno :/
If the ceramic holder threads are tight in the base, the MP is probably faulty. Send Bruce an email.
I have two mp's and both do the exact same thing I just video taped it and sent it to Bruce. Im going to take it apart and play with it some more once i pull through this 4 ml of juice i put in it.
