Absolutely once I get all the parts i I'll send you a pic. I'm a really heavy vaper so I usually end up refilling half way through the day. I figure 8ml would get me through a full 24 (good thing I'm a mixer eh?). Plus think of all the possibilities I'm also having a heck of a time finding a lower body :(

Ok. That explains that. I usually take 3 devices to work with me. Ithaka, Penelope, and a surprise. So I don't run low and I change flavors during the day.
But what you're thinking, you may want to consider a sword holder. Strap it to your belt and it should be ok. :D

Maybe I'll get a billy club holster :)

Hey guys sorry if it has been asked before but does anyone know of anywhere apart from esmoke guru and clouds of vapour to buy ceramics for my ithaka I know esmoke guru has them in stock and clouds of vapour did not long ago but although I don't mind paying 30 dollers for shipping for the ithaka it stings abit for about 10/15 dollers worth of ceramics if there is no alternative I guess I will have to import but would rather not

I do not mean to hijack the thread... Sorry :)

I looked and looked but I could not find it in this thread, but theres 600+ pages

Any tips on how to loosen the draw on my ithaka. I was really looking forward to getting on and for my birthday my wife surprised me (said I could get it) ahahaha

So I placed an order for COV and it arrived a week ago. The only complaint I have is the draw is unusually tight. When compared to other friends ithakas its still tighter then theres.

I need help!! I just want to loosen it up a bit. I don't mind drilling or anything, just want to love it not like it :)

thank you in advance!!!

Start by checking that your draw hole under the control ring isn't blocked by anything. Also check that there isn't anything gunking up the center post and mouthpiece. If so and the draw is still to tight assemble with no wick or wire and check the draw. If is it still to tight there isn't much else you can do.

Do you use the short or long top nut? i installed the short...

i run the wicks in an x pattern (dual coil)

mouth pice and center pin are not junked up at all (its brand new)

I will remove the coils and let you know

Many people use vasoline or the like on all their threads so I thought that may be an issue. Even so as a new device it is possible a metal shaving got caught in either place and was causing the issue. Also with an x dual coil if you are using to much wick in the cup it can hinder your draw.

Side note. The 20 min boil cotton yarn is vaping like a CHAMP! Instant flavor, no cotton residual taste at all. And..,,,(knock on wood), I haven't had to tinker with mp every 4 pulls like I usually do. Maybe? Could this be my answer on penny? I'll have to keep an eye on this.

I hope so, Just told xtreme that I was taking your advice and ordering as he has some also. I wish not to tell many the cotton that I have been using but, here is safe . I have been using cotton from a pharmaceutical company that is 100% pure and clean that they use to stuff into big pill bottles instead of making the bottles smaller. Duh.

I saw igetcha 69 using regular cotton balls. I had never considered this as a viable wicking medium! That's really cool that its possible. I know silica wick isn't expensive, and I just ordered quite a bit, but the convenience and low cost of cotton sounds really appealing! Will have to add some to my supply cache!

Rampage. Take the ithaka apart. Look into all the holes and see if there is a blockage anywhere. Straighten out a paperxlip and slide it up the rebuildable part. You should see pure daylight through all those holes. As was mentioned, you should have a wide open air flow when empty or you're already behind the 8 ball.
When you rebuild, blow out the rebuildable part. Believe it or not material from wick or whatever can get caught up in there.
Reassemble and take a pull off the mod. Again. You should be free and unblocked. Try on mod with dry pull. Free flow. Fire. Should be free. If it's blocked give it a shot on another mod. Although that shouldn't make a difference.
The air blockage is generally in that rebuildable.

Xtreme got me onto this cotton. I was happy with cotton hemp but this stuff is something different. I use organic cotton balls from cvs in my drippers. This cotton X man got me hooked on solves my GG attys. the ithaka has never tasted so good and the juice is pure from the very first pull but only after I reach my 20 min boil. And the penny? Well I'm not "priming" the juice flow by closing and re opening the mp every 4-5 pulls. I can actually chain vape the damn thing. The worse I found is after 25 pulls I may need a quick prime. Leaps and bounds above anything I've ever tasted with ithaka or Penelope.
I'm flying high right now as everything is shining through. The flavor and vapor are amazing. Th is spot on.

Wait. Am I still sleeping? :)
