I've had the same issues with my ithaka since I bought it. I love this thing when it's working but gotta admit lots of issues, especially the leaks. I've found that the leaking is worse when I fill the tank; if I only fill around half-way, it seems okay and minimizes leaking. When I fill it right up, I get leaks from the post, leaks from the air control hole, leaks from the body.

Imeo! Any suggestions? I've tried pretty much everything I've read on these forums, from not over-tightening the 'sleeve' element to slowly screwing on the top nut to slowly increase pressure. Help!

I had this only in the begining when I close the airflow ring and juiceflow control both to fill juice.
Then I close only juiceflow control and let the airflow stay open.
No leak for months.
My only gues is that after you fill the tank and you screw the small cap,your making so much
Pressure that the juice must ascape from somewere.
To better understand it you can take a medical syringes fill it with liquid close the outlet
And try to squeez.
You can not becouse juice is allready dens, but if you do it with air it's squeezble a bit.
So when you let airflow stays open and you tight the small top cap,
The built pressure can balance as some of the liquid that pushed is pushing the little air that was
under the juice control hood,or getting out some other way and it end
goes via the airhole in Ithaka base and not deprussurized the
Small o ring gasket on the central post,or other conect part.
Never had any leak since I let airflow stays open when I fill the tank.

Thank you for the detailed post. Yes I always keep the air flow ring (the knurled one on the outside) open when filling. My juice control (mouthpiece) is all the way shut. Still the same problems persist ...

Can you see from were it leak?
There is few more resons that may cose that.
1) If you twist you positive wire on the center post more then one round,it may
Disturbe the small o ring to seal properly,one round is enoughe.
2) if you tight the Ithaka very strong on the 510 it can make the center post
move of exis.
3)if you leave basic feeding open (close it)
4)make sure your center post is tight to the atty part via the nut inside the ceramic
Some time it get loose and if so the small o ring wont seal properly.
5) make sure you dont leave to long wick that end under the small
O ring when you tighten the rebildble part to the base.
Hope this will help,or you have some other thing
Wrong that I did not thoght off.
As I said I don't have any leak at all for months and I'm runing parallel 6 to 7 Ithaka
Allways full with juice for me and my wife.

I would prefer you to remove the brass pin Frank because pin push deeper the center pin and some batteries like orbtronic will not let you have a solid look of justGG and also only the one of the o-rings will keep your CT from leaking inside battery. Its enough of course but if you see any leakage then remove the brass pin from Ithaka

Awesome Yankee. Fits like a glove without taking it off. It's a brand new ithaka never any juice in it yet. It's not hard to spin just squeaks. Is that normal cause its dry? Really appreciate you help.

1. use 3mm fat wick
2. keep BF control closed
3. Screw first the big cap and then the small one and slowly
4. put 17x1 o-rings everywhere inside Ithaka. I have send months ago those o-rings to my sellers to send them to you for free if you ask for them. I announced it on forum too but maybe this info got lost

Thanks for the tips ... just to make sure BF control is the 'sleeve' you screw the atomizer build into, yes? So I should keep the 'holes' in it in the closed position?

I also always have used the orings though.

Well, I never has a leaking, in my day to day life, thanks God, and I always used the BF opened at the two channels but the only trouble that I has was that small gurgling when I put the e-liquid in the Ithaka.

I only has trouble of leaks one day when was traveling and change the altitude from 2,100 meters above see level to 3,200 meters and the to 1,200 meter and just in that time I was having the leaks and any more, so for me that doesn't count because was for the different atmosferic pressure that happen so the next time that I pass for this road I spend all time vaping and has no leaks anymore.

I could use a second SS window for my second Ithaka.

I've started setting her up with the channels aligned with the BF. I can keep the liquid control fully closed this way, and find the liquid feeds perfectly this way.

My results are the exact opposite. If I leave the BF open and put the mod/tank in my jacket pocket, the heat build up will cause flooding. I build them with the BF closed and if I put them where I think they'll get warm, I close the manual control too.
