I wasn't getting any flooding on my dual cotton coils with bottom o-ring removed. But being rather new to Ithaka, I didn't tighten the new rebuildable part well enough and eventually unscrewed it when playing with liquid control and that done the trick But that was my fault of course.

A related question - is there a verdict on eliquid getting on brass contacts? Seems some advanced users really try to avoid this and stick to designs where no contact of eliquid with any brass parts can occur.

You really shouldn't have brass in contact with liquid. Some might disagree.
