Hi just reading all the comments about Ithaka and COV it's to bad to hear this news but I am not sure I will jump to conclusion's until I hear something official from Bruce at COV. Iam in Canada and pre ordered 4 months ago to so it takes longer to get to me can't wait ! The only thing I will say is next week my Ithaka will be mailed out to me it's been a long wait to try another one of Imeo wonderful creations and I can't wait for the next one to. Thanks Imeo for the hard work and everyone here for helping with my vaping problems.

So you think it's fine that they thought it was cool to sell Ithakas to people who hadn't pre-ordered? To give them priority on the items we've been waiting for since the end of last year? I certainly don't.

Taking them to show would have been fine, though a quick "we have them" update would have been appropriate. But they didn't just take them there to show, they took them there to sell, while we still wait. Making money off the spares was more important to them than their commitment to people who had pre-ordered, and that's clearly wrong.

For me pre order promised I would get one not that I would get one before people who were local did. In this case COV is at VB in the past I know a couple people met with Bruce to get their GG's before they were shipped.


Yes Bruce probably should have informed us some way FB forum whatever. However the way I read Justin's coment was that they arrived late Thursday. With the excitment of getting to the airport, through security and seated. Not getting to their destination till 3 am, and the what I imagine was an early VB setup I can imagine being so busy it is hard to get to a computer or the internet to post.

Yes I believe Justin's reply was snippy. Again playing the devil's advocate I can't imagine they got more then a few hours sleep before VB because of the late arrival and setup. Also all the customers from VB and they probably got asked about this situation hundreds of times. Maybe it would have been better for him not to reply at all however I think he just wanted to post something about it before the situation blew up even more then it already did.

All in all I will continue to support COV. They have always had great customer service and IMHO go above and beyond for their customers. While I think this whole situation could have been handled better I believe in forgiveness and that we are all human and make mistakes. I also don't think Bruce thought this would upset people or he wouldn't have brought them with him to VB in the first place.

I will not do preorders for GGTS and Stealth just to see if people that dont like preorders system will be happier with it. Maybe we can keep preorders for all new GG stuff and no preorders for GG stuff that already exists.

I've been following this thread for a few months now since I got my Terminator (the good Ody clone) and decided I needed to find out more about the real GG products and get my hands on some. I missed the pre-sale for Ithaka and wasn't able to buy from CoV a couple weeks ago, but I'm excited about the possibility of getting my own, brand new GGTS!

When will the GGTS go on sale? Also, a little while ago you indicated you were going to be making more Ithaka due to overwhelming demand. Will there be a second round of pre-orders or will they just be sold through retailers first come/first served? Will that be before or after GGTS sale? I'm hoping that since I'm up-to-date now I can plan things out so I can get one of each

Well, good for you for forgiving them. I'm not prepared to do that until I see at least the slightest acknowledgement from CoV that they admit it was wrong to serve walk-up customers before handling pre-orders. It's just common sense to me that that selling Ithakas to anyone before handling their commitment to those of us who have waited so long for them, and apparently have financed their business with nothing so far in return, is insulting to their loyal customers, and there's no excuse for it.

I dont have any agreement with my sellers about where money will gain interest kw. I just never cared about this issue.

Also I am sure that Bruce isnt a guy that doesnt respects you. I think that he just didnt handle the situation the way you wanted because he didnt think of it as a big issue and because he didnt want to go to the vapefest without his weapons. Thats how I see it. The bad thing is that he didnt informed you first.

I am taking my family to the beach today. I am going to watch my children play and I am going to focus on what we are really here for. This has me so insulted and infuriated that I need to get away from it for a while.
I will decide if there is anything to gain by requesting a refund and then buying another from the classys or foreign sellers.

One thing I am sure of is you don't deserve this. I am truly sorry that after all you do for us that you get thrown into this mess. I agree with the preorder system, as you know I have expressed to you many times. I do wish that $ was gaining interest in your bank instead of the resellers. I hope this arrangement is not part of the resellers compensation for selling your products.
We will always support you as you do more for us and you are a brilliant man.

GGTS will not be sold via preorders but Ithaka will. I will start new preorders in less than a week

Agreed. I've done enough rushing for gear at other sites (you, there... that site with the Southern California area code... I'm looking at you) to know that I'd much rather place an order in advance and know it'll come in eventually than have to run an ordering race against everyone else who wants the same thing I do, and quite possibly end up with nothing.

Thanks Imeo, for the incredible creation.
The Ithaka rocks and runs like a steam train. Good flavor, very sturdy, easy setup and adjustment, beautiful slick design. The best vape around and with some air/liquid adjustments handling all my favorite liquids.( various VG/PG mixtures)

I read in a previous post that some have an electrical short at the center post to the ceramic holder.
I had the same problem. I wanted to let you know that this happens sometimes when you tighten it too much. All you do is loosen it slightly and move it towards the center. I also found a bur right at one of the screwdriver notches at the ceramic holder, leaning towards the center post (about 0.3mm across the length of the notch)
Not a big thing, removed it with ease.
Ever since no more shorting out.

I mainly wrote the above so others can look out for what I saw.

Overall, this piece of art, is by far the best atomizer ever.
I know you will try, but I'm not sure if anything better can be made.

Anyone care to explain more about the ability to have any excess liquid to be fed back into the tank? I think I understand all the other changes (compared to Ody). Just don't really understand how this one works.

Imeo, the problem is not with pre orders at all. This was a communication, judgement error, mistake that will hopefully never happen again.

Pre orders are great in that I can pay and know someday I will get it. There are far too many people trying to profit off the modders creations and those profiteers tend to get their hands on stuff and new people or fans miss out, or have to pay extra to the profiteers.

I would ask, not to change the pre order. In the past it has worked out with COV, this time a big unfortunate mistake happened. It appears it went well with esmokeguru this time!

Please please please do pre orders for GGTS, Stealth and all new stuff!

What are those juices that Ithaka doesnt like? I am asking because Ithaka is an improved Ody, so it performs at least like Ody

It is very much improved than Ody that's for sure that's why I ordered another one. My favourite juice is Grants vanilla custard and I've tried it twice with two setups and its still the same burnt wick taste (I have to say, it's not a disgusting burnt taste lol), few of us have found out that not all juices go with Ithaka but I could be wrong. It's still early days and will try different setups to see what the outcome is. Maybe it just needs a different setup. I'm using Gorilla juice and it tastes awesome on Ithaka. I will keep you up to date with the outcome.
