You mean metal window instead of clear window Vapor? That way you will lose the ability to see if your basic feeding is open and how much open.:)
I didnt make a scedule for metal windows but its very easy to include this item to production line. Maybe I can make 100-200 of them

Yes, sorry, that's exactly what I meant.

I understand visibility will be lost, but I'm worried about cracking the plastic as some of my DIY juices have been known to cause problems... There are some I certainly wouldn't put in anything but glass or metal, and a few I'd try with plastic, but not until replacements are available, just in case...

Agreed...

So now that folks are playing with Ithaka, any consensus on "best build"?

Maybe a comparison of dual coil/"x" vs. dual coil/parallel vs single coil/"x" vs single coil/double wick vs single coil/single wick?
What settings for base feeder vs using mouth piece juice control?
Best performing resistance range, gauge of wire?

Mine will be here this week and would love to have some insight from folks already playing.

I'm hearing dual X is the bomb :) so I'm going to start with two 3 ohm coils ... should be in my hands by tomorrow :D

and yes, bring on some more testimonials folks! :)

I would also like a metal replacement for the window. I'm not sure if I would actually use it or not, but it would be a good back up if the plastic were to break. I know it's not supposed to crack from juice, but someone could always step on it! Also I think I may prefer the look of all metal no plastic.

Vassilis rocks :toast:
I ordered another Ithaka when they were up on his site but for some reason the payment wasn't going through. I tried like 3 times and then my card got blocked after a while received a call from my banks fraud team and they confirmed that someone was using my card details to pay for stuff
Got a replacement card but by that time Ithaka was out of stock. Thanks to Vassilis and Imeo and after back and forth e-mails to Vassilis he saved me one from that was cancelled but I had turn that down :( as I have other financial commitments.
THANK YOU VASSILIS AND IMEO
Not to worry. Another pre order is coming up so ill enjoy the Ithaka I have now :D

Then better wait to see if the plastic of Ithaka can handle any kind of juice and we deside later, ok Vapor?
