The marketing direction has kept me away from several devices, thoug usually from the images and artwork on them, than their names. Having dragons/skulls/demons on my personal effects got old after middle school. Even the psychodellic goat on my ipv bugs me.

Maybe it's because I vape in an office environment, and dont feel like geting sideways looks from my boss. Maybe it's my affiliation with the firearms world, where such imagery on your gear is equivalent of Truck Nutz. Maybe I just dont want to buy something, only to have it stolen by my dragon obsessed friend, or my skull obsessed friend. Each their own though.

Still waiting on an atomizer maker to name their series after famous volcanoes from around the world.

ETA: I agree with you about the skulls... how juvenile. But the dragons... those are really something. But my husband is obsessed with dragons, and by the chinese zodiac, he and our son are both dragons! He doesn't even vape, but he'd steal it for sure.

Names are what they are; however, it wasn't until i got into vaping that I encountered so many anti-sense terms like "analog", or childish, 2 year old kiddie garbage language like "tootle puffer". Seems they retired ECT too soon, it might have helped users of such linguistical inanity.
