I got a ViVi about 6 weeks ago. I love it. I was still using Stardusts, though, because "they're $5!". I only used it at home, though, because it was fuggin top-heavy and when I put it on my 1kmAh Twist, I looked like I was carrying a super long...something with liquid at the top. Just about a foot long, it felt like. So I was using it, but not much.

Since I'm quite obsessive with cleaning, I decided to clean my 1.8 head nice and good, and try a different flavor I had. I had a bottle of Vanilla Frappucino from The Plume Room. I poured it in, and the taste was soooo much better than in the Stardusts! What had I been missing??!? So, I go to search and buy another and SOLD OUT?! I grabbed three Mini Novas and some replacement heads OH CRAP THOSE ARE GONE TOO?

Anyway, got my first Mini Nova this afternoon. I love these little guys :]

I am going to be making the jump to the Nova, my question for you all is who, at the moment, has the cheapest prices on them including the standard 4 heads that come with it. I am in need of at least two to start out with, one for me, and one for my wife. I have been smoke free for 3 weeks now, and she is part time smoking and part time vaping. I keep encouraging her to smoke less and vap more and she is working towards it. Has not smoked in our SUV for the last week since we got it back from the shop after the wreck. Anywho, my wish is for as inexpensive a cost as possible, I know GotVapes has them, just looking for an authentic supplier with a good cost. Thanks in advance.

Everywhere I've looked the Mini has just one head, and the V2.5 "big" Nova comes with 3 total. Any price under $14 is fair at this point, and I've not seen them below $11.95. Factor in shipping, grab some replacement heads (if you can find them), and ffs let me know if you find any metal bodies for sale for the MiniNova!

Got Vapes has the metal tanks for the vivi nova's (reg & mini*) & the colored poly tanks too.... & the replacement heads fit the Nova's,Mini's & the rebuild able Stardusts ..... VV Nova's are $12.95 & mini's are $9.45 & stardusts are $6.95 ...heads are $2.95 long wick & $2.45 short wick .... and those prices are b-4 the 5% off during check out if you signup for newsletter .

* oops down to just the green @ the moment , surely they are on order tho ....there has been a run on them of late since the crafty folks have figured out you can "carve" on them so to speak with a Dremel ....example posted here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...tubes-all-colors-now-stock-2.html#post7194782 cool stuffs :D

+ 1 to what kelley said. Be careful of too cheap there are a lot of knockoffs. When you factor in the automatic 5% discount from GV for signing up the newsletter and cheap shipping, usually 2 something, and they ship quick!!! I"m not sure about Florida, but I know stuff gets to folks in PA in like 3 days from date of order with just regular shipping, no need for priority, then GV really has good prices and you know it's authentic. I am sure there are other places that sell the real deal, but GV is the one I trust for Vivi's.

my dry burning did not go that smoothly :(
maybe the wick was still wet, IDK. but my dry burn attempt created a tiny bit of vapor/smoke but the coils did not glow. maybe the coil was too gunked up and past the point of no return.? idk, i just said hell with it and rebuilt the darn thing.
how is it that i can rebuild, yet havent mastered the dry burn lol?

UPdate: my latest attempt at dry burning was a totall success. i patted the wicks dry and gave multiple short low voltage bursts and sure enough: orange coils :)
the wick even went white!! :) from now on, im dry burning after every tank. its just too quick, easy, and effective not to :D

i encourage you to seek out the version 2.5 rather than looking for the best priced nova. you will find cheaper, authentic vision brand novas, but theyre likely to be version 1 or 2. i know for a fact that GotVapes has the version 2.5. surevapes might also have the 2.5 and hoosier too. those will be your best prices and most reliability, to my experience.
the mini is the newest version. the first version of the mini is the one to get, and as far as i know, the only version that exists. there are no knock off minis (yet) ASAIK.
EDGECRUSHER - im pretty sure Gotvapes has the metal nova bodies.

Harumph. I started this thread. I was so happy with my Nova! Within 48 hours, all the heads crapped out on me. :( I guess I just got that unlucky set of duds. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. Been using a SmokTech DCT tank in the meantime while I get new heads. :(

What voltage are you vaping which head at. You can burn the coil of the 1.8 out at a high enough voltage.

Thanks Spicy....yeah I found that the site someone had linked to was saying vivi novas, not vision vivi nova, and after looking they are not on the list. I found the list on another post earlier today. I think GotVapes will be my choice of vendor for them. Even though they are actually pushing the SmokTech Titans. I thought about those first, but from comparison by actual users, not the GotVapes guy, they Novas seem to come out on top in quality still. Though that could change later, and they are rebuildable which I am so itching to play with. LOL
