1.8 ohm @ 3.7 volts, 2.4 @ 4-4.5 volts, and 2.8 ohm @ 4.5-5.0 volts.

I have five Vivis - 2 mini and 3 regulars - everyone likes a different vape but what i have experienced so far (I think these are fiddly but the taste is worth it to me).. is that these perform best at moderate volts.. I use 2.8s almost exclusively on my all my twist for the flexibility and over 4.4 volts they start to get a bit inconsistent.. The sweet spot (for me of course) is between 4.0 and 4.2. At 2.4.. I found those were better around 3.7 to 4.0..anything above was again inconsistent.. didn't like the 1.8 that came with them - were ok on my standard ego but I prefer the twist by far

so I guess the point of my post is that I find with these systems they seem to perform better at the lower ranges in regards to volts?

exactly. fillerless, top coil designs require much less heat/voltage to get you to where you want to be.

yeah but what about for those that just have a standard Ego-T tank system battery. What is the best ohm for them? :D

1.8 ohm all the way.

however, i suggest investing in a twist if you havent yet considered it. it will be so much less stressful to find your sweet spot. IMO, twisting a dail is much less of a hassle than searching for the right ohms, buying it, waiting for it, then trying it out. with a twist, you can make any ohm vivi head work for you.

heres a good price. you may even be able to find a discount code.

I just can't get the high resistance heads... cartos... attys... anything high res to work for me. I tried at the appropriate volts, tried to "break" them in. I use a Torpedo VVV and a Kgo VV. For some reason, despite logic, the only attys and cartos that have worked for me have been low resistance, even on my vv devices. Why?!

EDIT: I own some high resistance 3.0 ohm cartomizers to use with my SmokTech DCT tank, and I tried them. Did everything I was told or instructed to do, and the first vape at 4.5 made my carto taste like burnt plastic and immediately there was smoke. I unscrewed that thing so fast it made Felix Baumgautner blush. What am I doing wrong?

Personally I have never followed that whole 'appropriate voltage' thing. Like who even made that chart. Gee. I start at the lowest setting and pump up the volume only if necessary. Works like a charm. I have seen countless newbies posting about burning their cartos by starting at high voltages.

Actually, I very rarely adjust my Twist, Provari and other VV devices. Mostly they just stay on the lowest setting lol...

I love mine. I have 4 of them and will probably get more as I find more juices I want to have available all the time.

Dry burning really is the key to getting great performance out of these things. Straight out of the box and then every few days. Works with Silica or SS Mesh to keep them running great for ~2 months per head……probably more with the mesh. I haven't hit 2 months with the one that's running Mesh yet.

I kinda want to try a genesis style, but it's going to take a lot to impress me……which means I'll be waiting for the lavagen and hoping to get one at the first kit sale.

Mini Nova with three heads.

I am running my Mini with 1.8 on a KGO VV at 3.7v. Love it so far. I also bought a regular size Nova and I am running that on a regular KGO using the 2.4 head and it works great. Great vapor and flavor on both. I think I will stick with the mini's for any future orders and with the cleaning instructions hopefully I can make the last a long time.
