Sad thing is your the epiphany of why we are ultimately doomed. You only care about what you want and hold in total disregard anyone else considerations or rights. Your going to do what you want when you want and care less how much you harm the vaping community.

Its the cloud chasers who do vape in restaurants, movie theaters and other inappropriate places. Its a parable of how the vape shop is hazy versus other places being hazy because of the cloud chasers.
And its them who defend the guy walking thru walmart that refuses to even consider that it sheds a bad light on all of us who vapes but I tell ya what. Its a beautiful day today and I been invited to a crawfish boil so yall go ahead and do what ever you like. Vape wherever you like. I know I will be vapng with some friends today who also vape and enjoying life so I wish everyone a happy vape day.
thank you for this bountiful amusement.

laughter is abundant today.

but sad to say, i must disappoint you.

i vape everywhere i can... not everywhere.

so your assumptions are horribly misdirected.

not to mention, it's ego users and cigalike users i see all over the country vaping anywhere they'd like. i've seen well over a hundred of them in my travels. so far only 2 cloud chasers vaping outside in the parking lot.

sensationalism strikes again. :glare:

You mentioned "Rights" in your Post.

Do you believe that the Owner of a Business has the "Right" to deny a person from using an e-Cigarette in Enclosed Spaces on their Property?
of course he does.if he is the one posting it and not the government.

i can't speak for the others but,i am not denying the walmart guy
doesn't shed a bad light. what i am saying is don't reflect that light
on me as there is nothing you or i can do about such isolated incidents.
force of law isn't the way to go.

So what happens when people do Not Honor the Owner's right?

What is His/Her options besides pushing for City/County/State Bans of Vaping where Smoking is Not Allowed?

You nailed 2/3 of the problem.

1. Big Tobacco
2. Politicians taking big tobacco's money then doing what they want
3. Irresponsible vapers

Before big tobacco became even more involved and before the politicians started taking even more of their anti vaping money the public knew nothing more about vaping than what they personally observed with their own eyes.

Thump away on big tobacco and the politician issue all you want, and you'd be right in doing so, but don't forget about # 3. Public perception of vaping plays a large roll in this whole thing and while maybe not as important and 1 and 2, it is a powerful portion of the big picture..

Interesting to speculate what this discussion would be like if legislation wasn't in our future. We wouldn't be talking about how public vaping could bring about legislation banning vaping. I'm sure legislation wouldn't happen if that was the only problem. But we could still be talking about how pushy vapers could increase the number of places where vaping wasn't allowed. My guess is that would happen.

Despite everything I do think threads like this are useful. Listening to the back and forth helps you clarify your own thoughts on the matter. At least it does for me. And the people who are particularly nasty about it, there's a special button for them. On the new forum you don't even see the empty blocked posts, and it even blanks out a blocked poster's comments if someone else replies to them. Cool.

Maybe you are right and maybe you are not. We will never fully know as long as people keep running around acting foolishly.

Maybe?

Please don't trivialize this until you have taken the time to read what our states have done regarding BT settlement cash.

Take 15 minutes to go over the payment structure your state receives from Big Tobacco.
Then come back and say "maybe" with a straight face.
No amount of public perception will change the fact that vapers cost states billions.
States cannot afford the loss of revenue.

Again, none of this is hidden or secret.
It's not a conspiracy.
It's boldly written in black and white for anyone willing to take the time to read.

Or we can all just bash the vaper beside us........

Just for the record this is cloud chasing while I have on a couple of occasion seen some people doing this in public they were out side and not a bother to anyone. I doubt most of the posts in this thread are referring to someone doing this in a restaurant, or movie, store ect.....
Im not saying it dose not happen but there is not a hundreds of thousands of rude people making a menace of them selves going around clouding up our citys public places. I have been coast to coast once already this year and am heading back to CA from NC next week.
So I can speak from my experience and observations from my travels Cloud chasers are not a big issue.

So you're going to make it better one sandwich shop at a time? You're probably going to get yourself hurt and not help the cause one iota. Write your representatives and vote. That will accomplish much more and it's safer.

I think he meant actual subway, not the sandwich shop :p... Point still stands though, of no one was complaining, why speak up?

Could be.

Or it Could be that One Persons Experiences are Not Reflective of All People's Experiences. And what happens in one Part of a Big Country like the USA is Not Indicative of what happens in Another.

BTW - I noticed that you Didn't Reply to this Post.

That's OK. Because it Brings Up some Difficult Issues.

OP is right... He is going to ruin it for all of us. I came from the world of premium cigars, and I hope someday we (as vapers) adopt some of the "rules" of the cigar world.

-never light or smoke a cigar without asking your guest/company

-if the smoke from your cigar is bothering someone... MOVE.

It's common courtesy, but some people need to have that told to them. I would have showed him my setup, and kindly asked him to stop.

Lol. You're right. I read "shops" instead of "stops".
This makes it even more questionable. Why would you care if someone vapes at a subway stop? It covers up the smell of urine.

And you can continue to deny that problematic vapers are part of the problem.

Problematic vapers ARE part of the problem, as evident by this very thread, even if you choose not to see it..
