It's impossible to keep up with this thread casually, so forgive me if this has been observed before. R2, c7. Is anyone else seeing edvard munch?

Hey guys when looking at stabilized wood I noticed a lot of eb numbers. Like eb21 or eb1076. Is that a rating or does anyone know lol? I have tried googling it but nothing relating to what I am looking for is popping up.

I also thought maybe it's an eBay number. But then I look at woodsourcing websites and find the same numbers but no explanation. It's like it's common knowledge from anybody in the woodworking world so nobody explains it.

if that's the case then i'm clueless. no surprise :)

FYI:

Those are knife scales (knife & gun handle size wood etc.) Pen banks falls into that category too. Blocks on the other hand carry a way bigger price tag and not available from all ebay sellers.

Yes I saw the different sizes. I was just looking at the options out there and colors. I could only find 2 websites with block stabilized wood. Unless I wanted to send a block of my own in to be stabilized and dyed. But almost everything out there was for pens and knives. Looks pretty darn nice though. I could see a few projects of mine using that. Maybe even a wood door for my metal reo! Wife would kill be working with wood though. She already hates the metal and now I would add sawdust to it lol.

I see 2 possibilities:

Hey - i got this great bit of wood i am now going to whittle at with my old Swiss army penknife. "How nice dear".

Hey - i bought a great new CNC machine to tie into our existing computers and it weighs 4 tons and you no longer have a kitchen.

i think the reply includes the words dead and Trunker.
