Can anyone recommend a good bottom feed atty (not rba) that I can use until Rob gets the brass RM2's back in stock??

I knew I should have bought 2 RM2's instead of 1 but was only planning to buy 1 woody. NOW I see how this wood thing works, like Lay's potato chips, can't do just one :)

Have to post them again...like a proud Poppa!!!

I06 (306 type) from Ikenvape at 1.8 ohms. IMO the more stock 1.5 ohm resistance most people carry is too low and harsh.

Note: The I06 is not a standard 306 atty - the barrel is a bit larger around and you need to get a drip tip there made specifically for them. Standard 306 drip tips don't fit.

I prefer the Vapage hybrid 1.5 ohm (shifu type). I like the Avidvaper stuff as well but the Vapage ones work just as well.

Thanx for the replies for the attys!!!

When using these do I need drip shields and adapters??

Sorry for the questions, I've never used these before.

If I were you I would just go to reosmods and pick up your attys. Robert sells them cheap and they work well. Yes, you will need 510 drip tips for a 510 atty. Robert has those also. You don't have to spend a lot to get a good atty. I have used these and they last a long time and are good.

Nope. The ones we have all mentioned so far are 510 connection. Drip shield not necessary - that's what the catch cup on the 510 connector Rob uses takes care of. If you get any 306 type just be aware you need to get a 306 drip tip - 510 drip tips don't fit.

All standard attys were out of stock as of Saturday morning except one.

I linked to the 510 1.5 that was in stock. Just trying to help.

I noticed Woodvil #119 says poly finish and my 18490 #82 says natural oil. Does Rob use different finishes for the same types of wood? Is one of these descriptions wrong?

Both are jatoba/koa.

Anyone know?

Edited: Sent Rob a PM to ask directly…I just didn't want to bother him when he's so busy getting ready to ship. ;)

Thanx Karen.

I looked at Rob's attys but thought they were all out of stock. Since the Wood sale all I can see is "Out Of Stock Notify Me". lol Maybe I'll pm Rob and see if he can throw a couple attys in one of my Woody boxes, but then again I'm sure he's QUITE busy right about now!!

I also have some SunShield coming from Amazon (local stores only had the feed and wax stuff). Thanx again for that tip. Both my Woods are oil. The 16oz of SS should last me for a while:)

PM me and I'll give you a new 1.5Ω or 1.8Ω bridgeless atty if you want.

LOL, I wish! No camping by the mailbox for me (see below ). Although I will be perched on the sofa staring out the front window on delivery day!

If you was a Canadian you'd build an igloo beside your mailbox

What's with the Jatoba? They where all almost the last to go.

Fine by me that it went that way. Since I was late to the game, I was able to get one of those beauties. C'mon somebody snag that last little guy. I can't do it, unless I WANT to have to build an igloo outside to live in for a while. Paying the utility bill this month is more important to my family for some reason :laugh:.
