Looks like one is drilled for a plunger too.

My take on doors:

Squonk door
Plunger door
Plank door

I have always considered the plank door to have NO hole.

But that may be just the way I see it.

I don't mind at all moving the door up about 1/3 to squonk. It lets me capture all the beauty of that wood with no distracting hole at all.

Thanks Karen, very helpful, you know how I love the black palm and fiddleback koa!
Maybe if i can get lucky a Black Palm garage queen paired with an Ebony daily driver could be in my home for the 2014 vaping season:D

Because of your previous question to me I decided tonight to do a little research on Black Palm. My thoughts were posted before but now everyone can read and learn about this magnificent looking wood.

I had to sell my lovely VV Koa because of the smell coming off it. It made my juice taste horrid. It was a hard sell. One day I hope to get another VV wood.

I had to sell a woodvil once for the same reason .....

I gave it 3-4 months but the smell never went away and it also made my juice taste terrible.

A look back in the past might answer that question for you! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/288438-vv-reos-part-iv.html

These thread will attract many more as time gets closer. Those who have looked without posting suddenly have to jump in and make their presence known.

The Woodvil's shinning like diamonds draw us like a moth to a flame. Hearts pump faster as we plan our moves through the site in fevered anticipation of the sale.

United we are an unstoppable mass in our quest for the gold, our woods our trophy.

I tend to get just a little possessed when it comes to wood REO's! ;)

Looking back at some old pics and wondered if you or anyone else knows what kind of wood THIS is?

Any progress or pictures of 18490's yet?:p
18490s are all sanded and ready for finishing . Mini woodvils are down to button holes juice well hole and door magnet holes top and bottom profile

As stunning as they may look now they pale in comparison to the finish product. ;)
That is true the finish brings out the beauty of the wood for sure
