I'll need to make sure I don't have a fire going in the fireplace on Christmas so when St. Rob errrrr..... I mean St. Nick drops my Cocobolo super mini down the chimney it does'nt get burnt!!!!
:danger:
My best guess is around xmas time .
I hadn't noticed Kim bought a grand . I dont really look at the names my email is a rather busy environment . I get to the what looks like a mountain pause for a second take a good pull from the old grando and have at it like a jedi two fingered typist . I make it to the top wipe the imaginary sweat from my brow . Do a little jig and I am off and running

These are the prototypes Before I start a big run of mods I have to build one of each model . I then assemble them to make sure everything is lined up perfectly .I have all the models done I just have to put them together to make sure everything works perfect . I am confident they are ready for production . So here are a few picks of the 18490 and a mini woodvil first coat . The woodvil is still to wet to touch had to pass on the pics .

I have looked at this pic and watched all the video's.

One thing has not been addressed. It is something different. I mean different than any other wood REO's.

One tiny milled out slot above where the positive contact will be placed. Right in front of the slot for the wire.

My OCD is driving me mad about this.

Hoping Robert will jump in and let me know why this is there.

I am thinking it has to do with the "new" contact.

ITs a slot to keep the positive connection in place it cant drop . I dont have to center them if I do this the connection is in the same place every time . Trying to make production smoother and I like perfect;)

Thank you Robert! I knew there was a very good reason for it to be there!

Now I know a "new" wood REO will be a first run of a stabilized contact!

Sounds like a perfect reason to grab a "new" improved REO!

And of course, you do perfect well my friend!
;)

I guess I am the one bubble off center person. I am one who is not going to buy a wood Reo. I just love my metals. I love the feel of them and the strength of them. Don't get me wrong. I think they are beautiful. A true masterpiece. And think Robert is awesome to all of us Reo lovers. I just am as happy as a lark with my metal Reo's. I have two grands and one VV grand. But I will still probably go to the site the day of the sale just to see all the beautiful woods. Hoping everyone gets what they want and no worries of competition from me! LOL

No your fine. Some folks like one or the other or both. Now you would be one bubble off center if you didn't like any REO. :)

i shall have to get one for HRH, she loves the look of the wood and is now cooing over the CNC machine video.

I just realised that if i buy her what she wants (and i invariably do) then she'd end up with more Reos than me and that is not part of my masterplan.

So i just bought myself a copper vein Grand to pre-emptively even things out! She's beginning to notice how devious i am.

I love wood stuffs, and as beautiful as the woodvils are, I prefer the metal, too. :) So, I won't be in the competition for any woods, either. You're not alone!

Does someone know the name and artist of the second song in that vid? It's just lovely and I'm fairly sure I've never heard it before.
