Lower maintenance required. A poly coated wood is very resilient to changes in humidity, juice spills, sticky wet fingers, dust, etc. without requiring the attention to cleaning and re-oiling on a regular schedule.

I have 53 REO's, 33 wood in Ohio. Most do not change in the Ohio climate. Only my Ebony and Cocobolo have had doors stick some in the most humid times.

If you go with Oak, Walnut, Purpleheart, Jatoba, Bubinga, Rosewood, and Padauk you should be fine. I have those and no problems. There are more that would work fine also.

The more exotic woods like Black Palm, and the Burl woods are more prone to break in falls. They are really beautiful but might not hold up as well if subjected to abuse.

Naw, even if I did light up the REO's help couldn't arrive in time. Then I would be frozen with my iceberg tears and REO ashes. No way Jose! I would enjoy vaping as many as I could as long as the batteries would last. And I would be happy knowing that when I was found deceased my REO's would find homes and people would be happy!
