I never even thought about the handle being a potential rule breaker. I was trying to think of something at the time, looked down and saw what was in my hand reogrand...It made perfect sense at the time. And if there were a Filthy-Beast mod, I probably would be interested. Anyway, continue the countdown!!!!
My user name was almost Reoduke before I even knew what a bottom feeder box mod was. REO being my initials (I'm guessing Rob's initials are also REO) and Duke my favorite GI Joe.
I actually like the old Woodvils with "REO" engraved in them. People that know me would've thought it was a custom mod

I'm sure Rob's getting tired of soldering. With the 233 mods we have picture of that would be almost 1400 solder points.

Rob, I will be in your part of the state the weekend of the 15th if you need a hand finishing these up. I am pretty handy with the iron and my dad has an awesome set of tools (little Fast Time at Ridgemont High reference there).

They both make so much sense.... but if I'm to comment, I must say if you have a grand already, wait a sec and get a woodvil next. Of course that is if you can't get both....

LOL nope I don't have a REO yet. I think I will go look at the grands again. So many nice colors I can't decide ( another decision ) And then if I am lucky enough to see a woodville I like and I can snag it before it's gone.......Those of you with the RM2 what do you like best for gauge of kanthal and wick? I'm still really new to RDA's so I am still in the learning stage. TIA
I use 30g wrapped on a 5/64 drill bit, about 1.6 ohms, cotton wick...I prefer the 30 over the 28 simply because it heats up faster.
I haven't even set up my RM2 yet. She's just been sitting and waiting for a Woodvil. Has been stripped and polished back to bare brass and is looking pretty. I imagine I will use 30 gauge for a micro coil shooting for a 1.1-1.3 ohm and cotton wick when I finally go for the maiden vape.
Nice, thanks. I went and got a little of the ekowool. Jury is still out on that. I should try cotton. I have a roll of it in the med kit.
