I love those mods, I'm happy to see you got your black palm, Sorry if it's been answered, what's the story on 50, howd you end up with that one, I thought I read, you having trouble getting any of your first pics....
It was my first pick, and was gone in 20 seconds:)

A Reo Angel had picked up two and decided they only wanted one....

I can't wait to get my hands on my woody

Have a(nother) brass RM2 and a brass/carbon fiber tip coming as well...

Does it make me odd that every reo I get is given it's own rm2 (or in some cases, igo-s) ?

Nope I'm the same way

I.... May not be a great yardstick against which to measure your oddity :)p

I don't think so. I believe you were odd long before that. And yes it takes one to know one. Nice to see ya Xobe. Hope all is well with ya.

1 ohm all day no problem. the switches are rated at 3 amps and 5 amps continuous load, but that is at 12v and we are only pushing 4.2v and lower. So we can lower especially since we do short bursts. I would not venture below .7 though.

Thanks! I think I can keep it above .7. I don't want to set the wood on fire!

damselle, if you decide you want to get rid of #50, I'll give him a good home. He was my first choice, too.

I'm pretty sure that there's a huge line for that boy because I think that was almost everyone's 1st choice...lol

Also I've found the Woodvil to have lower voltage drop than a Reo Grand. So a 1 ohm coil will hit harder than the same coil on a grand.

Absolutely correct. Lets see, hits harder, looks better, feels better, lighter, just as durable IMO .....
Why isn't everyone carrying a woodvil with them every day ?? They really killed the metal REOs for me a few years ago.
I don't think I've taken a metal REO out of the house in 2 years or more. Heck I don't even own one at the moment.

When the sub-ohm kit comes out I might get a grand again just to check out the new stuff (with my 1.3 ohm coil) :D
