No the upgrades are only for metals. I'm pretty sure your limits on how low you can go will governed be the max amp load of the small battery and not the mod itself.

Well, I know folks say that you shouldn't go lower than .6 on the Grand just because you could melt the button or collapse the spring, so I'm assuming the same goes for Woodvils....??

Nobodies pushed one to failure that I know of, so no real experience to base it on.

The on/off switch is rated at 3 amps, the fire button is rated at 5 amps. Both of these ratings are for 12 volts we are only using 4.2 or lower. These are also continuous load ratings. So we should be able to go lower. Rob has said 1 ohm is no problem. I've gone down to .8 but probably won't go lower. The length of time you keep the button pressed will also play into it. The on/off switch can be bypassed by placing a drop of solder across the contacts.

My ADV for about 2 years now - DIY DK TAB (Flavor Apprentice). Tastes best at .6ohms.

Dk Tab stands for Dark Tobacco? Is it a NET? I want to try it:p. I'm getting a Dibi for sub-ohm, and I do DIY too, was wondering what the best juices were for sub-ohm anyway:)

Oh... so it's clear, I love my Woodvil, but Rob said it's for 1 ohm, so I've been sticking to around 1 ohm. I love my 2 woodvil's and are really glad I got it. Never even considered wood mods before I decided I HAD to have a Dibi, but after waiting so long, decided to get some woodvil first and now I'm hooked on wood mods:)!

Dibi are designed for sub-ohm, so that's why I'm asking... not helping you melt your woodvil switches... :p

Just got on the Dibi list myself (didn't even know that's what they're called until just this moment :) ).

DK stands for De Kang, one of the first makers of tobacco flavored ejuice. DK TAB is not really a tobacco flavor if you ask me though, tastes kind of sweet, kind of earthy with a hint of caramel and "hay". Many many vendors have their own versions of it, but my fav is the base flavoring from Flavor Apprentice. I mix it at 10%, 10mg.

I've vaped it at higher resistances as well, but I like my vape on the warm side and the DK can stand the heat. :vapor:

It does gunk up coils pretty fast though, I usually dry burn and swap cotton once a day.

Hello All!
I would like to introduce to you...... " The Big Kahuna"! :)
New addition to our family of "minis" I couldn't be more excited, proud, and lucky to own this beautiful piece of craftsmanship. The cellphone camera and bad lighting don't do this Koa wood justice! I will have to take a follow up picture with a quality digital camera in the natural sunlight. The reflection in the grain & curls have a truly amazing, "3D" effect!
I could write paragraph after paragraph describing how I a feelng right now gazing at this baby not believing it's mine but I'm sure you can all relate!:toast

I know Karen is gonna gasp but....I've recently noticed my 18490 coco has become my favorite mod and daily driver. Work or play she loves being out and about

Not quite gasping here sweetie! I think it is wonderful!

Robert makes the wood REO's for all day carry. He doesn't plan for them to be used just at home.

Happy that you are enjoying your 18490 so much!

p.s. you better have it waxed good inside and out! LOL!
