Tim was correct. Using a LED flashlight, I examined the positive post of the flat top while installed in the Woodvil. The rounded corner of the battery housing inside the wood body, top and right of the battery, prevents the top of the battery from making contact with the positive contact of the Woodvil by just a whisker. Nipple top AW's have worked marvelously since day one, so I'll just continue to use them.

I going to guess that is the year he got married. Sometime in the first year, we lose the capacity to be right in the wife's perspective. Generally happens when they overcome the illusion that we are prince charming, Mr. Right, or when we start farting in their presence!

The avi pic is Bloodwood/Birdseye and I also got a 18650 Cocobolo both from the last wood run. They are my first REO's. I have a Kawasaki green Grand coming tomorrow which will be used as my "out of the house" workhorse.
