... Of filler, wicks, cartos, and tanks! I have been vaping for almost two years, and craving an analog NOT GOOD

I wanna be a reonaut (looking at a Grand)

I have been doing a lot of lurking and reading here, thank you for all your time and effort put in here. Most of my reo questions have already been answered, but I have FEW more I'd like help with.

Q: Where can I can I go to buy a variety of attys, and what is good to start with? I do NOT want rebuildable. For a long time I was happy with 1.5 dual cartos, recently switched to a Vivi Nova (stupid wicks) and the best vape I could get was using the 1.8 ohm heads. Although it never read 1.8 -- always 2.0-2.4. I know it is all a lil different for each individual but where should I start .... I like throat hit.

Q: I usually carry my device in my purse, is this gonna be an issue? I understand if u squonk and don't vape the juice you will have a spill if tipped, but will it leak on its side in a pocket in my purse --regardless still gonna be a reonaut, just curious before I possibly soak my leather purse in liquid.

Robert does have some atty's and cartos on reosmods.com. They are low price and good to start out. The L.R. atty's work great on the Grand. I like the 1.8 or 1.5. The 510 and 306 require different tips but work since the connection is native.

Cartomizers work well if your REO will be spending lots of time on it's side. Less prone to any leakage when put away. I don't have a problem with juice leaking, but some have.[

You are making a wise decision to get a Grand. The hassle free way of vaping is the way to go. You will wonder why you waited so long to turn to the REO!

I still vape 32-34mg juice after two years of just vaping. It takes that to keep me from even looking at cigs. I just don't want them at all. The REO helps for sure! Makes vaping easy!

Welcome, QusieQ :)
You're right....our needs are always different. I've had good luck with most atties I've purchased from Avid in the Cisco line (preferring the 306s both bridged and bridgeless 1.5Ω - 2.0Ω was my sweet spot depending on the juice. But there's also a really good deal at Digitalciggz every now and then on 10pk Joye atties. Can't help with Cartos much because I've never used them long enough to have an opinion, other than I preferred atties.

I carry mine in my purse or coat/vest/sweatshirt pocket all the time when not in use and I've only had two occasions of spillage in the last 2 1/2 years. Mine were autofeeding....mainly because my atty needed a thorough cleaning. It wasn't much....just about a ml....enough to notice and take care of it. If you vape thinner juices, then it might be a good idea to keep the reducer tube handy. I vape thick 100%VG juices...so it's nearly never an issue.

Any particular reason for not wanting a rebuildable atomizer? Rob the modmaster at REOSMODS has developed a terrific rba (Reomizer 2.0) thats only $43 that many of us are nuts about. A 2 year vet is not a noob so I would seriously consider this because it'll blow your socks off compared to all others. Issues of flooding and leaks in my experience are non issues with it and in the short run say not more than 6 months be saving you some money. BTW whichever atty you choose make sure its compatible (hole through center post).with a bottom feeder.

I have a Grand and V/V Grand and love to use both daily, but finding myself reaching for the VVG more often. What I like about it is the ability to set the voltage to your liking and have a consistent vape until your batts need to be recharged, along with an automatic resettable short protection built in where the Grand does not (always meter new attys/coils before using with the Grand to prevent a possible spring collapse). Hey, in the end most folks end up with both anyway. Little bit taller but well worth it imho.

Either way you come to the right decision, Reos are rock solid performers and will not disappoint. Plus the bonus of the best folks in the ecf and Rob who has excellent customer service, both will be around in helping you out if needed. :)

I've been vaping less than year and tried just about everything out there and was never totally satisfied until I got the Reo. I was actually getting a little worried, like you said. I've now got two Grands and this is the only sub-forum I need to visit now. Low maintenance, simple, and it just works. I'd also look at getting the new Reomizer 2.0 RBA too---again, low maintenance, simple and it just works.

Welcome to Reoville! You'll love it here!

I think AvidVaper.com has very good quality and selection. I have to admit, I'm one of the weird people that was not impressed with their flagship, HH357, but a lot of people like them. I preferred their Cisco atomizers.
I would also strongly recommend you to try the 1.7 shorty cartomizers. Rob sells them, and most vendors carry them as well. They are much cheaper than atomizers, and taste pretty close.

I've carried my grand in my pocket while playing with my kids, jogging, working on my in-laws' roof. The only time it leaked a few drops was when I had a relatively large rebuildable (A7) on it, and it was waay flooded. As in, had about 1.5ml of free flowing juice inside the atomizer. Everything else has never leaked.

I am so glad u mentioned the hole in the atty, wasn't even thinking about that, lol!! You just saved me from myself.

Down the road I plan to look into an RBA but right now I just wanna get back to enjoying a vape :)

I thought about the vv, but needed to start a lil cheaper. I am buying a meter tomorrow.

Wow, thanks for all the help. As soon as my PayPal clears, Rob ships, and the post man does his job --I will be a Reonaut

The thing I remember most about opening the box on my Grand was thinking "this thing is so much smaller than I thought". Pictures made it seem bigger. CONGRATULATIONS! What color combo did you get?
