Most overseas shipping is just really slow right now. Heck, I’ve had packages from China take 2-3 months.

I’ve got a 23mm Sandstorm that has developed a slightly loose 510 assembly. Has anyone tried to tighten one up?

I'm trying to think back (mine are all wrapped right now). Was this the mod that had the screws right on top, so you can tighten them easily, or am I thinking of a different mod?
Mine had that problem, but it is the black 22 mm version, so not sure if the same on the 23 mm sandstorm.
The old 22's have the screws on top, right?

Mine has, so yes, not sure about the 23 mm sandstorm though.
I have Sandstorm but it's the old 25mm one. Jumpin' will be able to see the screws if they're there (their they're there - lol).
I’ve got the black and silver 23 sitting beside me and both have screws on top. My 25mm sandstorm is in storage.
Yes there are two Phillips head screws on top. Not all of these models have them?

Might not need to get in there, see if the screws are loose on top, I thought my 510 was loose and just turned out to be them screws had come loose.
Agreed! Same with me. Just tighten up the screws to tighten the connection. EASY. Let us know if that worked (please).

Didn’t think it would work as they seemed pretty snug, but it did! I would not have even tried to tighten them if not for your suggestions.
Now that the sandstorms are back, guess I’ll go see about getting another one.

Mmm...the sandstorms are not back? Only see the black ones.
There are, if you take off your tank (IIRC) 4 screws all very easily tightened and I too thought I had a loose connection but it was the top.
It was so easy, it made me kinda hate press fitted mods. Heh.
