Gottlieb's actions are confusing. On one hand, it appears he is methodically dismantling the vape industry. On the other hand, he pulled it out of the smoldering ashes by extending the Deeming drop dead date. Had he not done that I suspect the industry would be close to dried up by now. So I'm not exactly sure where he's coming from. I see and hear a lot of conjecture but that's all it is...conjecture.

According to what I hear Gottlieb is targeting tobacco cigarettes and forcing a reduction in nicotine content. The article doesn't mention vaping. Those who have a frozen stock of 100mg nic should be fine.

Haven't you heard? It's an "epidemic!" All over the news, even my local paper, and problems may be closer than they look in your mirror.
A quick google search of Gottlieb Vape will give you what you may not want to hear. But it does appear they're more interested in Juul & flavors (for now) than mods, tanks, etc.

This deal seems to have changed, At first, the price was $90.xx so when I added it to the cart, it did show the free item of the model 17 and 1 free battery. And had applied a 10% code. Plus added a vat to the + side.(It just now disappeared, says now the vat is included.) So I went ahead and put in the code ECR69 and it took it, no free S17 and no free shipping. So total now is for the 2 kits(including the batteries) is $150.40 minus the ECR69 of $30.08 = $120.32, but when adding the not so free shipping of $22.56, it brings the total back up to $142.88. So, is this still a good deal? Should I add that extra something that was suggested earlier in this thread to see what(if anything) changes?

This article sums up the government fight against vaping for what it is ... a protection scheme for tobacco cigarettes and the billions in tax receipts the government receives, especially state governments. Government depends on those to finance their day to day expenditures. Once again, it's all about the money.

Idunno, Bronze - as many times as I've FLIPPED one of mine off one table or another, these suckers seem to be pretty tough. Cover flies off, battery pops out. I pick it up, but it back together (with much trepidation), then the dang thing just fires up like normal.

Most recent was last night, and the time before that was a few days ago. I'd like to say it was a rare occurrence, but I'm an oaf.

One of these days it won't fire back up, but they're tougher than I had expected they'd be.

I'm not trying to influence you, of course. We vapers, we don't do that.

Yeah, mine has been in a few trainwrecks too. I suspect all of us have modslaughtered our JACS a time or two. Yet they keep working. I'm surprised these skinz hold up as well as they do.
