I have read here on ECF, and watched the vids, but have yet to find answers to a few questions.
Should I charge the batt before the first use? I know it's charged now, but not sure if it's fully charged.

It's your choice. Li-ion/LiPo batteries don't suffer from the "memory effect" like some older batteries.

How many drops of liquid does the puromizer hold initially? I don't wanna over, or under fill.

TIA :)

Don't know, really - depends on the size of the drops produced by your bottles. Didn't have to count drops any more with the puromizer - just follow the indication made by Ludo a few posts back.

Batterys are usually 60-70% charged upon arrival. To be safe, use one while recharging the other. When the one you put up for charging is done charging, swap them around and then use that one till it dies, then swap again.

As for how many drops it holds - i dont know. 2 mls is correct. start off by opening the silicone flap - blow out excess liquid (the priming liquid it comes with) by blowing at the end of the screw thread till the whole thing seems dry, then put in 20 drops, - stop, look at how much is in there, and then use those 20 drops as a measure. Is it half full? if so, add 20 more - etc.

You should aim for half a centimeter below the top of the window for maximum.

Hope this helps! :)

That's cool, as long as you didn't use the whole a**....I love unicorns, and horses. ;)

Its made from unicorn tails. :)

Sorry, but we cant give away every little detail - much like other companies, we have to keep some stuff to ourselves. (and we have alot of stock invested in unicorn tail farms..so.. )

Oh no no.. we only use the finest hairs. And we dont cut them either - its quite a fascinating process;

We have a small team of volunteer kids, and their only job is to play with the unicorns all day long at our designated Cebu resort aptly named "Unicornia".

Five hours a day its nothing but tickle-games, frisbee catching contests, and 80's/90's themed runway shows - and during this process the unicorns have so much fun that they shed some of the very end of their tail hair.

But its more complicated than that, you see the children also shed hair, so to distinguish the unicorn hair from the children hair we have enlisted the skills of a former french hairdresser (our contract forbid us to mention him by name), and he is the one doing the real magic:

Using only an ancient scale from greece, made entirely of feathers from virgin seagulls, he then weighs each hair against a previously, carefully but skilfully, obtained genuine unicorn tail hair - and if the scale aligns he puts the hair in a vacuum sealed box, which then later gets sent to Korea ....and well...you know the rest.

Now please.. please.. dont ask me how the coil is made.

So that's where my hair stylist went! :glare:

I would like to know what the difference is in theJanty Puromizer compared to the other Puromizer CE2 type carto/Atty's on the market that have been on the market for some time now, besides just the window fill. The other puromizer type Carto/Atty use a thicker CE2 type Silca wick, what wick is used in this Puromizer from Janty, on the Janty website when you go to the Atty's section and look at the picture of the Janty puromizer it looks very much the same as the other Puromizer type Carto/Attys with a piece of the same looking Silica wick in the window. I dont see what the big secret is here, someone is just going to tear one apart and look at it and then all will know, so what's the big deal, it has to either be a Silica, XC-116, or Fiberglass wick, my guess is the Silica but I would just like to know as well as what the difference is compared to all the other Puromizers flooded on the market, ANYONE KNOW ? I'm assuming Janty has some different specs and there products are usually pretty good but I'm just curious, time will tell it always does, hasn't anyone torn one apart yet ?

After 4 days of usage, thought I'd leave some impressions also:

DON'T try the Kuwako on the Neo auto or you'll get immediately hooked.
I bought the Kuwako just as an impulse buy with my Neo purchase, and had my doubts about it but... After using it for the first time, couldn't take off any more.
What a great little piece of kit and what a difference it makes in normal usage. The look and feel is absolutely great and the material has an amazing in my hand.
On the down side, I tried it with an eGo manual battery and simply didn't like how the usage felt. It simply wasn't natural for me.

About the Neo itself:

A very good vape, and very consistent to this point. Didn't rather expect it, but I've been using it exclusively since I got it.
I'd simply describe it mainly as a very well balanced solution.
Construction quality seems top notch and the design is great, but that's always a personal thing.
Been using PG based juices, as that's what I normally use and the flavor and vapor production is indeed excellent.
Throat hit is normal, I would say, unless one uses Toby's tip and vape with the little window opened, in which case, the TH increases by a fair amount.
Refilling couldn't be easier, with any kind of bottle.
Also, no leaks, and I did leave on of the puromizers standing for a whole day.

Now for the less positive points (hey, the device was designed by mortals):

- The auto switch is very good, but not perfect - it can fail to fire occasionally under some airflow settings. Not often, but it can happen.
- One of by puromizers works perfectly but the second has some kind of problem because it always gives me dry hits unless I vape with the silicon plug opened. It really can't wick with the window closed, and after closing it, 2 draws latter and the dry hits return.
Will have to check with Janty about this.

Hope this helps anyone.

Just one more thing I forgot to mention:

- The puromizer is amazingly fast when switching flavors. Wasn't really expecting that, with those wicks and all but, even with a not completely empty tank, I re- fill it with a different e-liquid and bang: I can immediately taste the new flavor on the first draws.
You must be paying a lot to that little elf, because he can do some strange things.

Skye: My boys do tend to like the stories.. my wife is usually the one saying the story has gotten out of hand, but the boys still seem interested hehe..

mwa102464: This is a Janty Puromizer. It might look like something else youve seen but its not - it does draw on the experience of a multitude of other products out there - but everything does that. As for "why we wont discuss it" - its simple: were not about discussing the internals of our products on a forum. Sure give it time and people will figure it out, but its of little to no interest to the majority of our customers - they just want a solid, working product - and thats what we are working our butts off to provide.

But ofcourse we are hoping that modders, and other veterans within the community will find them as good as we do - even if we wont partake in the dissection of our own products. We respect the community for what it does - we hope the respect is mutual :)

Afterall we did just give you guys a new toy to take apart :p

pmos69: The real big trick here is that he has only one arm.

Nah im kidding.. he has two, but since the other arm is busy constantly waddling away excess liquid in order to not make the puromizer leak, we dont really count that arm as a "productive" unit.

You experienced that too?? I couldn't believe it when it happened to me, and my co-presenter Keith found the same thing. I really wanna know how that works....
