Try putting in liquid, then shake it violently (maybe do it to a björk song) and see if that helps.

It could be that the wires inside are tangled, which could cause the little elf we have inside to suffocate - which means he wont be of much use to you in fighting off the dry-spots.

Well atleast somebody enjoyed it. Thats a good start The reason i mentioned to do this, was that i noticed in one of the test puromizers i got that the wires had become entangled - by shaking it with liquid on, it soaked up the liquid, got heavier and then fell in place.

However, i could also see after that that this is something that is unlikely to happen for a production unit, but i thought it might be worth a shot

It was an impulse buy, as I said, but I'm really glad I got it.
It's a very nice looking device, but you can only really appreciate it after holding it in your hand and using it - For the materials used, build quality and the way if changes how you use the device.
(In my case, with auto batteries. Ergonomically, didn't really enjoy it that much with manual batteries)

PS: This (Neo + kuwako) is actually the first device my wife approves, and rather enjoys how it looks.
She doesn't like ANY of the other stuff I have - not even minis :/

Just received my black neo classic auto flow today, what a sweet device, the automatic works perfectly, and the ring does make a nice difference in draw/output of smoke.

Love it, I need to mess around with a variety of liquids now

Okay - so it seems I'm one of the first users who isn't that enthusiastic about the NEO - though I really wanted to like it ...

But the good things first: I love the design (got a silver automatic model with the golden airflow ring) and the overall build quality. And the automatic battery works flawlessly.

But I experience serious wicking problems with both of the "Puromizers". From one I get around 3-4 nice, great-tasting draws, the other one allows even less (like 2 draws) before it runs dry and tastes funny. And that's with Janty's own PG Liquids. Just out of curiosity I tried one of my PG/VG Mixes and that doesn't work at all...

And my draws are quite gentle, none of them is longer than maybe 4 seconds. So the big question is: Can I be THAT much of an unlucky devil that I received 2 defective Puromizers or is it an essential design flaw (which I can't quite conceive after all that praise here and elsewhere) ?

Bottom line: I don't really enjoy my NEO as it is now ... Well - I guess I just bought myself a pair of rather pricey automatic eGo batteries

Oh - but I really love Janty'S RY4 I ordered along with the NEO!

Bottom line is: Yes, you can be that unlucky, apparently -The device is not like that when working correctly.
I can say that as an half-unlucky guy who received one good and one bad puromizer.

Hi Martin

I find it hard to believe that you experience is a normal one.

Can you try the following:

Try opening the silicon flap just a tiny bit and then try to smoke on it - see if that improves the experience

Try removing the golden ring completely and see if that improves anything

and lastly, try drawing harder on the auto - being too gentle can "overcook" the juice in rare cases

And let me know if any of these fixes it - also, make sure you have enough liquid in, but not too much (half a centimeter before the top of the liquid window, and half a centimeter above the bottom of the liquid window)

I got my Kuwako today its a great little accessory, I find it comfortable enough with a button but it really seems to shine with automatic batteries. The screen shots don't really do it justice as it has a very nice feel to it, very nice to hold...better than expected and that is always a pleasant surprise. Probably do a video with it this weekend, however I will not be able to do a puromizer review because a friend and I ordered in one order and neither her nor I ordered mouth pieces as we had no idea, at that time, they were needed....they will probably sit unused until janty USA sells the automatic battery and I can order a couple of mouthpieces and a battery at the same time.

yes you can't use it and you have to order a mouth piece

Well, sometimes stuff marked as 100% pg, still has 10 to 40 % vg in it - alot of companies do that. But, thats probably not the reason.

I find it strange, seeing as i have seriously not encountered this once, when smoking the Janty elixir line - not even slightly. But we will be monitoring this ofcourse - however, one thing is about the bad stuff you hear, its another about the big silent majority which you dont hear from, because it IS working.

So for now, in regards to sales volume, and number of complaints, this is really not an issue at all at this time - but we will be monitoring it.
