Hi All,

Got a question about the Janty Classic Kissbox I received yesterday...(All I can say is O.M.G!!!! Murphey's law prevents a further description of the AWESOME device until later.) :)

The USB cable has a battery, which I assume is topped off by the USB connection. Will this battery have the same "lifespan" and/or possible issues that the normal e-cig batteries "allegedly" have? (Did that sound non-judgemental enough?) Also, I thought continually "topping-off" a lithium ion battery was a "bad" thing?

And lastly, for Janty... Is the e-cigar battery in your store the one I would use if I wanted a spare or replacement battery? I post these questions here instead of emailing Janty directly for the benifit of anyone on the forum who may have the same questions. ;)

Hopefully in a week or so I will be able to descibe my experiance with the Kissbox, but for now....O.M.G.!!!!!

Tex

P.S. O.M.G.!!!!!!! :D

My Janty Yentl works like a charm (ty Jeff) with the manual switches.

But here another Janty Question: Did the Cartridges change?
The first RUY4 pack.. wow.. I could smoke on and off an hour on one cart (5 sealed in one bag)
After that Green Apple.. gone in 20 minutes (single sealed)
After that Chcocolat - gone in less then 15 minutes (single sealed)
Next pack RUY4 around 15 - 18 minutes (Single sealed)

When I say gone, they are very dry when I pull the material out and look.

The RUY4 are great (my staple) and the chocolat ones are better than to eat chocolade!

@Jag1313: if you paid for those separate packed in blue cellofane, ask for replacement, we took that batch out of circulation for sale.

@ApOsTle51: shipping costs from jantyshop in Netherlands to Uk for carts or small items are very cheap now, sent in normal envelopes! Sets are always sent per registered Post (because of the value) at 12.75 Euro but they come WITH FREE CARTS to reduce these shipping costs!

It's Janty Europe you want Apostle. They're based in Holland. The site is linked with Ludo's sig.

You guys took the blue individually wrapped ones out of circulation? For some reason I got a pack of coffee-flavored cartridges like that in my order and I dont actually remember selecting coffee at all.

I brought one of those carts to work today and haven't vaped it yet though.

Hi All

I posted this on another thread but no one said anything so i'll try again.

I find that I have to top up the Janty cartridges even after just 1 cig's worth of smoking. For some reason it seems to dry up REALLY fast. I guess I don't mind doing the topping up, but this strikes me as a little strange as I don't need to top up the smaller cartridge on my DSE 901b quite as often.

My only concern is that if I top up too often I could end up flooding the atomizer. It's just when i pull the cart, out, it looks REALLY dry, and the polyester filler seems to not be packed tight resulting in stray errr "hairs" coming up and potentially getting burned by my atomizer.

Hi Rorschach, I noticed your post before but didn't reply because I'm a newbie to Janty and don't know how much help I can be.

When I first started using my Kissbox I noticed that from new the cartridge gave off lots of vapour but if anything it was a bit too cooked. After a while with the same cartridge the vapour diminished and got wispy in comparison. I tried various things from dripping to changing my drawing technique. Where I am now is a bit better. I have discovered that for me with a new cartridge the atomiser is a bit too wet and the vapour is cooking and losing flavour. When the cartridge is slightly drier I use a long slow draw with a manual switch and good battery. This is working out well for me, the atomiser is not too wet or dry and the cartridges are lasting as long as they should. It was the technique of switch and drawing that made the difference and gave me good, tasty vapour with a dryer cartridge.

I haven't tried to get this right with the automatic switch yet, I'm quite new to the Kissbox. It is an outstanding 'smoke' for me now that I've developed my technique a bit. It was partly a matter of realising that the heavy vapour produced from an over wet atomiser was not ideal and finding the balance with vapour, taste and draw.

This might not be helpful for you but maybe will give you some ideas to try. Good luck with it, stick with it, it should be worth it in the long run.

Thanks Kate! I really appreciate it!

I will try longer, slower draws. With real cigs, I think I might pull to hard and often. I'm one of those smokers who is always done before everyone else, so I'll have to work on my technique.

I'm glad to hear this isn't just an isolated incident!

I guess I'll re-read the Janty Kissboxes thread in the review as from what I remember, your technique postings were on there.

No, it isn't just you, I've been having a whole catalogue of experiences with my Kissbox. I think the atomiser is more powerful and an easier draw than most devices so that means getting the technique right. I also use a generic classic and Ruyan ecigar and just draw away to get good vapour and taste. The Kissbox has made me realise that they are hard to draw in comparison and it has much more potential. I still haven't got the taste as good as with my other devices yet but am getting used to the slight harshness and am working on good flavour.

Hi Kate

I was just reading the other MONSTER Janty thread and I definitely agree with you, the taste of the Janty's is not as pronounced as it is with other cigs. I've compared to my bro's Njoy and my DSE901b. I guess I'm ok with that as I'm a nic/throat hit fiend more than flavor. I hope you find the right balance!

I'll keep experimenting as well.

Thanks again.

Also note that when you get a new ecig, the atomizer coems preprimed, and the cartridges will seem to go on forever, but as the factory prime wears off, the cartridges will seem not to last as long. For some reason, the factory prime just lasts a logn time- wonder what is in their priming that makes the vapor last that long?
