Vividsmoke.com has the hcigar and Infinite clones in stock. Hubby ordered me an Infinite Stingray for our anniversary and I take hometime ((Im an OTR truck driver)) tomorrow. Cant wait to get my hands on my new Stingray!!!!

found my origin aqua fits in hybrid, top cap too
center pin too short for my kraken
i think WS said these were tobeco came in plain white box and black bag

Fuggers just hit me up with that crap today, and I personally think they are FOS about exceeding the bandwith, I think they are just trying to shake users down for money, and force us to sign up for the unlimited account! All my photo's and GIF's are ghost now, including those that I posted in this thread.

first of all we all know jd ripped off the nemesis. I have the real stingray. I was not so happy with it. shoddy build,lousy sharp threads etc. then I handled this. this is actually at least as good as the jd. the quality of this is incredible for a clone. i would say it is a 100% spot on clone holding the two and slightly better workmanship. I guess that is why there are 41 pages of this. so far the first time i am not ashamed of a clone. i will just consider this the real one and the jd the clone.

yeah the infinite. my opinion is it is actually better than the jd. when the Chinese make something with price not as the only consideration they can do pretty good. I would say the hcigar is about the same quality as the jd but the infinite is somewhat better in fact.

Oh wow, good to know. I actually pre ordered the black copper infinite. cant wait to compare the 2.

oh man I would have freakin loved the black copper! the thing with the real jd and 100% clone is that the graphic is not really engraved. it is silkscreened or something. the copper is engraved. it could possibly rub off. I am sure acetone would take it right off. I am not testing that! you have the real black copper? where did you get either one? I am not so stuck on the real jd because his quality is not in the $180-$200 range imo.

mine came repackaged in bubble wrap for only $50. I did not get the tip which is fine. I have the real one already. which I don't use because I prefer my custom tips. still a cool tip. I did not get a fanny pack with the infinite either. don't know if it comes with one. not that I need another one. I am not a fanny pack type of dood. well, I am a hippie so I guess I could try it out sometime!

I will say the very design of the button on both of them has a little click/stick half way but no big deal. springs tend to be more linear. magnets are like on or off. that just goes to show this is like a 100% copy and then some. like better threads for instance. apparently they even copied the phantom brass formula!

No sorry lol what I meant by compare I meant the hcigar version brass and the infinite black copper. I know there 2 different mods but just wanted to compare the work from both companies. I actually did try and get the authentic black stingray but everytime I found it I was broke and when I wasnt broke and could buy it it vanished everywhere. Plus its whatever anyway ive seen peoples authentics look like the black is coming off. Which for 200$ I would not be happy about.

I think jd leaves something to be desired. if he sold them for like $120 that would be reasonable for the quality. $180-$200 is really pushing it for this. once on my real one the switch got stuck on and I was panicking unscrewing the cap waiting for it to explode. I also just noticed something. on a fresh atty build you just have to touch it and it fires on the infinite. the jd you have to press it pretty hard always. I would not be surprised if the infinite black is better than the jd. Damn thats pretty bad, for an authentic people shouldnt have problems with it. Maybe its just me and how I see it but if I pay upwards of 200$ on a mod thats authentic I shouldnt have to "modify" it or fix something to make it work, thats just bs in my opinion. Im seeing this more and more with stuff I buy, the last 2 times I bought something they were both completely crap and wouldnt work. Its sad really that something is literally half the price and better than something thats 200$. I hope the one I get from the pre order is that good, I would be amazed.

My group buy finally got them in and it looks like they made the seam highly visible, mine doesn't come in til tomorrow. I'm planning on selling the 2 Tobecos I'm getting.
