I recently ordered a couple bottles of Johnson Creek liquid because I like a couple of the flavors. I also went ahead and ordered a sampler as well so I could try the other flavors.
Anyway, I have read that Johnson Creek fluid has killed many many attys over time. Oddly enough, I had one of mine die tonight while trying some of the sampler flavors.
That being said, I think I made a discovery why this happens. I was reading in a couple of the Johnson Creek Liquid forums that many people think their fluid is way too thin. Well I notice when my atty died that the atty and battery seemed wet from the e-liquid. So I am guessing that their liquid is maybe a little thin thus causing it to seep through to the battery easier thus causing the battery to short the atty.
I may be totally off here but I truly feel that is exactly what happened to mine tonight. Feel free to share your thoughts on my theory and think back to when you might have lost one using their liquid and if you remember a similar thing happening.
