This juice tastes great. i just reviewed it. Unfortunately, what i didnt know is how badly this crap will clogg up your atomizer. i never had any problems with any other juice. this atty has lived and worked great for over a month. then, as soon as i started using johnson creek, it died! perhaps its a coincidence, but perhaps its not. i know im not going to use this stuff anymore :p

When I first started vaping I always seemed to have atty problems with dark colored juices. Even today I stay away from them and I consider them bad juju. Possibly your problem was caused by the Swiss dark chocolate or it was just time for your atty to die. Only way to tell for sure is vape each of the juices using a separate atty. If you again experience a problem with the atty then you can suspect it was juice related.

Secondly, is your atty just clogged or is it dead? A clogged atty maybe revived with a hot water soak and rinse. A dead atty that fails an Ohm test is indeed dead.

When I started vaping a few years back, JC had a reputation for killing atty's. I never had the problem. Was I lucky, I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I went through quite a few bottles of JC Tenn cured and Original Tobacco.. I used 510 atty's as Carto's weren't around for the 510. I would always blow out the atty and every now and then clean it by soaking in alcohol. Your atty might have just grown old and gave up the ghost. Am I sure, no. I don't think that JC has had a bad batch in some time. I still have a few bottles of Tenn. Cured and JC original around that I vape from time to time. I prefer 36 mg juice so I haven't bought from JC as of late. That's a shame because I love the Tenn cured. When using any thick, sweet, vg type juice, make sure you keep your atty's clean and blow them out every night. As far as Carto's, make sure you keep them moist by topping them off, even though they might not need it. Try to stay away from extra thick, dark, sweet juices. Hope this helps. Works for me.

As Dave has said, there was a very old rumour about JC being an atty killer but that's going back quite a while. TBH I've used a few JC liquids, and never noticed it being a problem myself. It might well be a coincidence. Even if its not, a lot of people use disposable cartomizers now for heavier liquids that can gunk up atty's. It might be worth investing in some - they are very cheap to buy and you can get them in most of the common battery fittings.

im thinking that i should just fear the dark juices man. the main problem i have with my experience with johnson creek's red oak juices is that the swiss dark killed my atty only about a day after i started using it. usually, my atomizers go through a much more gradual decline. not just an immediate KAPUT!!!!! lol

oh well. im just dissapointed that i have a bottle i cant use now lol. Im also nervous to use my new maiden coffee from gourmet vapor. its a dark juice too lol. maybe ill just rock it in the cartomizers.
