I just got my Johnson Creek sample pack a few days ago. My wife and I have been spending some time working through the flavors trying to find our favorites.

The sample pack came with small (3ml?) bottles of each flavor JC makes. It also came with 10 droppers for the bottles. Everything was packaged in a small round tin.

First let me state I'm pretty new to vaping. I've tried the Tobacco, Menthol, Vanilla, and Coffee flavors included with some kits from Smoking Everywhere and other vendors, that's about it. So please keep that in mind as you read this review.

TIP: I'm not sure if this only applies to JC juice or to all of them...but I've found you get much better flavor when you shake the bottle up right before you fill the cartridge. It seems some of the ingredients must seperate when it sets for a while.

I'm just going to go through the flavors and give my impressions...All the JC juices seem to produce good vapor and decent throat hit.

JC Original: A fairly strong sweet tobacco taste. I would say similar to pipe tobacco or some cigars in smell and taste. This is my personal favorite.

Tennessee Cured: Similar to Original, only a little bit milder and not as sweet. I would say this one is a little closer to the taste of a cigarette. I liked TC fine, just prefer Original.

Espresso: Has a somewhat tobacco flavor. I would say the smell/taste is similar to the smell of dry ground coffee. Reminds me of the smell I get when I open a can of coffee.

Chocolate Truffle: Also a slight hint of tobacco flavor. Has a smell/taste that reminds me of how powdered cocoa smells.

Arctic Menthol: A very minty taste. Almost reminds me of a peppermint candy. I'm not a menthol person, but my wife said she preferred this to some of the menthol flavors that came with our starter kits. Arctic Menthol is one of her favorites.

Mint Chocolate: Very similar to the Chocolate Truffle to me, but with a slight hint of Arctic Menthol mixed in. The menthol taste wasn't as strong as I expected. My wife and I didn't care that much for this one, it was just alright.

Strawberry: Has a strawberry flavor, but it was fairly weak. Sort of reminded me of a strawberry candy. We liked it fine, but both agreed the flavoring was weak.

Black Cherry: A nice cherry candy type of taste. Similar to a hard cherry candy. We both liked this one pretty well.

Summer Peach: A nice peach flavor, this was also one of our favorites.

French Vanilla: A light sweet taste, I didn't really get the vanilla flavor, but it was alright.

I'll probably be sticking with JC Original, while my wife will probably go with Arctic Menthol as her main juice. We will also be keeping some Summer Peach and Black Cherry around for something different.

This was my second order from Johnson Creek. Both orders arrived quickly and were correct. So far they seem like a good company to deal with and I've had zero problems or complaints.

My favorites from JC are:
Arctic Mint... nice minty, mild outdoors tobacco flavor... very very good.
Tenn. Cured.. Best of the Tobacco flavors for me..
Tried choco mint... Summer Peach... Black Cherry... All were decent but sorry to say, flavor was almost transparent... returned them and replaced them with more Arctic & Tenn.

I just got my JC sampler three days ago, and I've managed to try all the flavors. They were all pretty good, but I was a bit put off but everything having a smokey flavor, even the fruit flavors. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them, but I don't think I could only use JC juice all the time because of the smokiness. Other than that, the flavors seem to be fairly strong, the throat hit was moderate, but pleasant, and the vapor was pretty substantial. Overall, I would have no problem recommending any of their juices to anyone.

Johnson Creek juice is pretty lame. The french vanilla they sell now is very bad. There old formula was good but when they changed things up 2 months ago I wrote them off for good.:(

I just picked up the sample pack a few weeks back and I wasn't very pleased with the results. Most of the flavors had a "dark" flavor to them. Don't know how else to describe it. I like a fresh, clean, and clear flavor. I have two flavors left Tenn Cured and Espresso yet to try. But none of them did it for me. I was a big fan of the old recipes, but haven't found a flavor I'd go back for. And that's a shame. Their previous reputation was rock solid as was their juice. If things change, I'll try them again, but I don't think I'll be placing an order any time soon.

P.S. On the upside, the little canister was adorable!

I guess tastes really vary. I ordered the sampler pack in Reduced PG a few weeks ago. I loved the original, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. I liked the menthol, cherry, and peach. I did not care for the Tenn Cured or Espresso one bit.

I will say that all their Reduced PG juice has a certain taste to it - reminds me of wafer cookies. I think it's great in combination with most of their flavors.

I also just received an order today of their new Spiced Apple Cider in 24mg Reduced PG. It vapes great, but the smell of the juice directly reminds me of crazy glue. I think that might just be me. Tasty, great throat and lung hit. Actually tastes like a strongly spiced apple cider, and I know I'll be sad to see it go.

I got my first e-juice order ever from them & fell in love with a few of them so I placed another order & was disappointed. To me the flavors have a rubber flavor I do not like at all. One would imagine this could be attributed to the rubber end on the droppers provided, but I get the flavor without even using the rubber droppers. I find the strongest rubber flavor exists with their 'original' flavor. I wonder if my batch was different from those that love it (& I partially think this might be the case since I loved my first batch of Tennessee Cured & not my second). If there was any way to ensure I'd get a good batch Johnson Creek could easily be my #1, but instead I'm fearful of throwing any more money their way.

I've only ordered from them twice, but quality was consistent between both orders. No rubber taste, all flavors didn't taste like tobacco or smoke, etc... 3rd order should be here tomorrow, really looking forward to getting it because I'm vaping some generic imported juice right now, and it sucks quite honestly.

Anyway, I guess taste is subjective, but over all the quality has seemed good from JC, at least for me. I would send them an e-mail and see if they would help you out.

I recently tried their JC Original and Tennessee Cured. I was extremely impressed by their packaging and loved how the bottles came with a plug for syringe use, a dropper AND a small carry bottle. But the flavors had a "liquid smoke" kind of taste/smell that was very strong. At times I swear it almost smelled like a giant smoked ham, blech. And the TC has a sickly sweet almost sour taste. I can't even get anyone to buy the remainder of the bottle once they try it.

I got a 30ml bottle of Spiced Apple Cider in my last order, and I've really been enjoying it. The flavor is just right, apple then cinnamon and clove, and boy you ain't kidding about the throat hit. This juice really is pretty spicy, surprisingly so in fact. The only thing I will say is the vapor production isn't great. I got reduced PG and it still is weak on the actual vapor. I cut it with some VG, but the flavor and awesome throat hit were diminished. So, I'm using it as my go-to stealth vape.

This was my second order from Johnson Creek, and I've been pleased with their service and quality. They included a sample of their "bee" cart refiller in Original 18mg, which was nice. I'm primarily a dripper myself, so I haven't used it, but it's still a good concept. I like JC, but some of the things I like about their flavors are the very things that others dislike. Everyone has different taste ;)

I started with JC's Welcome kit and have to continued to order for myself and friends. I personally enjoy all their flavors (except summer peach) with T-Cured as my go to vape. I did just receive the new Spiced Apple Cider which I also will miss big time. Some of the flavors in the starter I didn't like initially I have since ordered repeatedly. I've have and will continue try other juice makers but JC is #1 for me. Ditto on Chicago and shipping

to me, all JC liquids taste like buttered popcorn + slight hint of whatever flavor is said on label.

also, the stuff is sooo oily and gets everywhere. i'm talking it creeps into your thread and everything.

Your not the only one to exp that my friend.... I to was soooooo Depressed:( When I first recieved my sampler from JC I wanted to call the .... Creek but after I played around I quickly took my opinion back:) I Am not sure if the Juice was to fresh and needed to sit for a day or 2... (Unlikely But a thought:p) and like sumone said in this tread you should shake the bottle to mix it up..... Then I found a key idea on resolving the issues, At least for me... I just took my atty and keep pressing it to a paper towel to draw the access juice out...... And When I dripped it on my atty on my blu cig... Bingo!!! No more popcorn taste!! And Very good Vapor along with a very nice throat hit!! The itchyness in my throught is the Nic... I think I would love to have sum1 help me give me there thoughts if that itchyness is the nic.... But I wrote JC telling them I was depressed and dissatisfied with there taste.... But 3 days after they emailed me telling me they would pay for the return and credit me back....I wrote them apologizing that I went up and beyond and I didnt give up on there product.... If I have time I might right a review of there Product but as you can see most people have.... But Try my tricks and reply back and tell me if my tricks might have worked.. Along with the other person that said shake it up... This way people can have routes to go on before they give up!!
