Okay, my first juice review. I dont really know if my pallet is as discerning as most other people report. So, Im not going to talk about subtle overtones, hints of this or that, pretty much only whether I like the juice, or not, and any other information that prospective vapers might want to know.
As far the equipment used:
Self-made VV box mod, self-made version of the Puck Mod with AA batteries and contained in a pill bottle, and a VV Gripper.
smok Tech 2.5 ohm XL carto, and dripping with a Joye 2.5 ohm atomizer a friend gave me.
Juice:
Johnson Creek Vanda, 30 ml glass bottle, 1.1% nic.
Taste:
Vanilla cake batter-type flavor, pleasant, not too strong, maybe a slight lemon taste from time-to-time. Seems to vape well in a range from 3.6V to 4.8V, maybe higher voltages as well, but I tend to stick in this voltage range. It didnt seem to be prone to burning at the higher voltages.
Vapor:
Pretty thick clouds that should satisfy most people. Didnt notice in particular lingering odor in the air.
TH:
Pretty mild in my opinion, not as much as I would like. Raising the nic content would help, but this is in range with my normal nic content for juices such as Tennessee Cured, Bobas Bounty, Gorilla Juice, and Hype, and TH is less than any of those. Strangely, I did get more throat hit from the carto rather than by dripping.
Other Issues:
This juice is THICK VERY, VERY THICK. With significant particulate matter that is abundant enough to stop up the dripper tip on the small plastic bottles that Johnson Creeks now provides.
I did manage to completely fill a XL carto with this juice, but it took awhile, a long while; patience is required to accomplish this process properly. Once the cartomizer was fully loaded, and it sat for awhile, it vaped really well, and provided a better TH from the carto than by dripping. Keeping the carto topped-off so as not to burn the filler is a long process as well, and it gets more laborious the longer you use the carto, after a couple of days I gave up on this process.
I am continuing to vape this juice, but only by dripping, I dont see how it could possible work in a clearomizer or a cartomizer tank this juice is THICK.
Final Verdict:
Overall I like Vanda, but I probably wouldnt buy anymore of this juice. It tastes good, and all of the other factors are good enough to make it viable, but it is too damn thick, and this is coming from someone who prefers 100% VG juice. People complain about how thick BB or GJ is, they are like water in comparison.
