Well it looks like I'm in trouble again. The ECF higher uppers are telling me that I am not allowed to help Jon in this thread. They told me if I continue, I could be in trouble. How can I continue to help him and still abide by the forum rules....anyone know? I don't even know where to start.

You might have Jon add you as Supplier Associates - Defined as members who are designated or employed by the Forum Supplier to represent/ advertise the business in the specific dedicated forum and in the advertising thread in the main public Supplier Forum

correct florida. That would be what he would have to do in order to continue or risk ban if you don't comply and stop doing whatever it is that they don't like.

no. it's more recently become something ecf is cracking down on. The are using the supplier helper thing to help keep suppliers in check for those who abuse it. so really those before ruined it for people now. also being associated with a supplier you will be limited on where you can post.

I personally don't see the big deal since you're not profitting or directly selling, but after looking at the rules, they do *kind* of have a point. Easy solution though, talk to Jon about becoming one of these:

Only thing is, just like the suppliers, it may limit where you can openly post (other supplier threads), so you just won't be able to be as big a postwhore

If the list is what the ECF is referring to, isn't that helping the members more than helping the supplier? All the list was intended to do was help people get one of the tanks.

Seems a shame to penalize someone that is just trying to help and having fun in doing so, but I do understand the ECF has its rules which helps the site keeps things even for everyone.

And that is the thing. It's politics and ecf chargers vendors and all that jazz. And it's like the one kid who abused priviliges and lost em for all.
