How do you think I feel. I've been getting kick around this thread for months now....More accusations than I ever thought possible.

That list was making someone feel very insecure, it wouldn't be the first time someone with good intentions got thrown under the bus. You are an integral part of this thread and therefore a target for whatever is on someone's agenda. I know this sounds cut throat but I've seen this many times. You handled the situation with grace and reserve and should be applauded.

Do you tank owners usually dedicate one flavor to a tank? Is it hard to get the previous flavor out of a tank before you switch flavors? I serioulsy might need 4 or 5 of these eventually, I don't have an all day vape and use about 5 flavors thoughout the day.

I use strong menthols, coffees and others ......I switch my tanks around......no prob....

Hi Lavacorps,
in these last few weeks I have serious problems with my computer,
I can not follow well the forum... :(

but I read about this last "problem"...
even though I don't know translate in Italian "Pinnacle Of Post whoring"

Today I am writing to know If you've never heard that the transparent tube of any tank is dissolved with organic e-liquid.
has happened to an Italian user, mixing:
- "luscios lime" 100% VG Extra Flavor N24mg of VirginVapor,
- "mint tingle" 100% VG Extra Flavor N24mg of VirginVapor,
- 50% VG of FlavourArt,
the tube of the tank is made with Plexiglas for food:

I've had problems with tubes also (description after photo)

I have, after over a year of sticking with various baccos and bacco-menthols (former Newports smoker), I finally found a DIY juice that became my All-Day. It is the only juice I have found that I can just vape continuously and what motivated me to start using tanks. But, this DIY juice does NOT like tanks. These tubes are polycarp (not plexi). The juice has 2 primary (higher content flavorings) ingredients and speculations have surfaced about both - but theories now lean more towards the VBIC. This juice has pineapple as its second most ingredient and first speculations were originally leaning towards the acidity of that flavor. Subsequently, more theories developed around the primary ingredient Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (VBIC) which has a "Custard Note" and this "Custard Note" contains some element of acetyl. Now, the speculation is the acetyl as there are other "Milkshake" juices with this VBIC ingredient (without the pineapple) which also seem to be damaging tubes.

{Side-note - the metal of the FOG tank and/or SS endcaps seems to change the flavor of the juice - like I said, this juice does NOT like tanks so far. But, I still continue to hope}

After the first 2 cracked, I received the suggestion to further cure the polycarb tubes by baking them at 180 degrees for 90 minutes. The first 2 of those tubes (ones with no yellow stain) cracked within a minute of juice contact. The one with the stain was cured/baked before use and that one lasted a week.

My hunt continues. At vapefest, I got a pyrex tube with SS endcaps (only way it was available) and brought that home hoping that would be the answer. After the first, fill using the stock SS caps and suffering flavor change, I went to pull the SS caps (was going to use some delrin ones I have of same size) and the pyrex shattered in my hand as I was removing the second cap.

I now have a delrin end-cap J-tank that seems to be working. But, I have made 2 adjustments. 1) I baked/cured the polycarb tube. 2) TPA (source of the offending VBIC) has a Vanilla Swirl which is supposedly the same formula as the VBIC but without the "custard note" and therefore no acetyl. But, that "custard note" has a major impact on the overall flavor. So, I have been experimenting by mixing the 2 different vanillas in various ratios to dilute the acetyl and minimize the impact of flavor change. It seems to be working and the j-tank tube is now 2 weeks and still intact (no damage).

This is one of the reasons I continue to ask about the pyrex. I think pyrex has the best chance of holding up against all offending juices. BUT, the pyrex must be thick enough and properly cured (was not the case with the one I had). This is also why I am leaning towards the Lava magma because JB indicated the tubing is thicker.

Hope something in here is somehow helpful to someone.

RIMP, did you get your new toy today?

I did and it really is beautiful...all shiny and black...LOL! I forgot how small it seems without the extension cap, as this one didn't come with one, but I always use one on my satin silver. Also got my carto's in, so besides juice and Lava tanks, I should be set for quite awhile!!:)

between here and there
I'm sure at some point, it's only a matter of time, chit-chat will only be allowed in the Outside forum.

We can start our own thread on the outside, can't we?....at least we can lose the '.....' part of the title. I know it sounds like the complainers are winning but we don't want to lose our contact with jonboy either.
What are everyones thoughts on that?
:)

That would be a very sad day, and I think one that would make a lot of people new and old leave the ECF. I've joined many forums over the years and I have at most 20 posts on any one of them. This is the only one where I have felt comfortable joining any thread that piqued my interest. I would hope ECF admins recognize that, and based on Roly's response to the chit chat OP, I feel that is the case.

Well, I think we would be violating forum rules again, if we discussed anything concerning suppliers in the outside thread.

It is Jon's choice as to if we are allowed to chit chat here or not...not anyone elses! I believe there are enough people wanting Jon's tanks, that if a few a**hole, winning people choose not to buy one, because we are all friends and actually talk to each other here, it will not hurt Jon's business one bit. Let them go somewhere else!!

Seriously, do people think we are the only one's who chit-chat on a thread like this? Look at some of the juice suppliers threads, Reo thread, Buzz thread, etc, etc. I believe we would be wrong to move...UNLESS Jon asked us to!! We keep this thread noticed, which in turn keeps Jon's tanks noticed....you know what I mean?

SORRY, but this really upsets me:facepalm::(
