Wow....

First of all...the chit chat in this thread is absolutely not the issue. I'm not even sure what brought that up to begin with.
IMO it's not the best thing for the business, to have such, as it can and does drive away new customers but that is entirely up to the supplier. Officially ECF has no stance on that matter. Someone mentioned opening a new thread, sounds like a good idea(idk about the outside...thats a politics/debate forum) but we do have the lounge and a new tank subforum.

The tankless list is not the issue, least as far as ECF is concerned.


It's very simple, RS are not allowed to have SA's. Paid or unpaid. It's one thing to fanboy, or answer someones question.
It's a whole other level when your basically running the biz's here.
Jonboy is not our only supplier, we have many suppliers to work with who have to adhere to the same rules and we have to enforce the rules the same for all of them.

The chit chat is not what caused the problem here for strprswpr, it was the list. If everyone noticed, one of the biggest ducks in the puddle yesterday was a forum moderator. I think it came down to an anti-social person that didn't want to follow the thread and felt like his or her chance of getting a tank was reduced by the list.

If it's about the list, that is easy to resolve. And it's not about the chit-chat. A supplier is limited to two threads? Why not give Jonboy and the other suppliers 3 or 4 threads. Maybe even 5. I lust looked, and Reos mods has 67 PAGES of threads! GotVapes has 27 PAGES of threads. That's just the first two that came up on the Today's post's list. Is asking for a couple more threads unreasonable?

I'm not a fanboy (not saying you called me one) ....I'm someone who wanted nothing but to help the vaping community. Nothing more. Now....I'm limited to how much I can help which I feel is a disservice to the people who follow this thread. I will stop what I've been doing and follow the rules....You have my word on that. I hope that will be good enough.

Yes, it used to be unlimited.
But then chatty fan boys such as yourselves would flood the first page with nothing but the same supplier and smaller or new ones would get pushed 4-5 pages really quickly.
The two open threads limit makes it fairer for all the RS's.


Cba: We have RS and we have FS. FS pay a monthly fee to have a special forum of their own, and link, supplier associates.
In their forum they are not limited on threads, in this forum they can only have two.

Open 2 windows and view them in their minimized mode...then grab one and slide it to the far right, you will see it "grab. Then you can grab the other and slide it to the left...does that make sense?

One other thing.....Why is it that Jon can't become a forum supplier when there are tons of forum suppliers that get no action at all in their thread. It seems like there's a ton of space in the list of Forum Suppliers that doesn't even get used.

That is a perfect example of how newer members and potential buyers can be turned off by the chit chat in a suppliers thread.

There are thousands millions of threads here.....with at least 10 nothing but chit chat over a year old thread. Got talk to Whiskey if you cant find a place to talk...she just hit 20k in posts.

I had a long drawn out answer typed but chose to delete it. too hard for me to learn new things in different places. Just gonna stay here under my blanket where I belong....

evening lavacorps. I just caught up. I just learned how to navigate around here with everyone's help and I'm staying put, too. It's stressful when I don't know what to do...and gosh I don't want to start over. It's not worth it. From the message I just read from a moderator, it appears we just need to change a couple things.

Stripper-would it help us at all if you took that advertisement wording part out from under your banner? IDK...I just think we should try to stay positive and make the best of it. I don't even know if what I said made any sense.

We do have post minimums and we do count twice every month...and they do get in trouble if they are not active enough in their forum and they are eventually removed should they not fix it.
When that happens exactly is outside my expertise...misty is in charge of that one.

I do know there is a waiting list, suggest Jonboy talk to Misty to make sure he is on that list.

I am unsure what you are talking about here. We still have plenty of social groups, and subforums.
