Mine's great. I can get it apart without asking Mr. Heeeman to do it for me. Snug but not too snug...just perfect.

I agree with hairball Jon, mine is perfect! It's nice to be able to take apart myself, yet plenty snug enough that their are no leaks or slipping at all! I am trying to get some good pictures to put up, but the camera I borrowed is giving me fits...but I will get them soon.

There should be 8 more magenta bliss coming, as long as my lathe doesn't eat them like it ate 3 tanks last week. I'm going to start on the next batch Sunday. I'm hoping to hear what people's opinions are on the looser fits before I jump in and make another batch.

Hey Jon,
First off let me say my Mecury tank looks great.
I'm using a CE2 tank design.
I would like the CE2 to have a tighter fit into the bottom cap it slides very easy but dose not leak.
I would also like the tube to be about 1/8th longer because the top cap of the CE2 seems to go to deep into the top cap.
I have to be careful so the CE2 dose not come out of the bottom cap while installing the top cap.
These are just 2 things I would like, and have no adverse effects on the tank it's self or how well they are made or vape.
I use a warp of tefflon tape on the bottom CE2 fitting and not all Ce2's are always the same lenght do to the fact the cup can slide on the air tube. The last XL CE2's I got were silver tanks that had a chrome tape around them which may have caused them to do this.
Your tanks are GREAT keep up the good work and customer service
The wide body derlin tank of your's that I have is built like a tank and is badass on my wide battery mod
Kepp up the great work
Thanks

Thanks I will check that out. This thread moves so quickly I have no clue how you people are able to order tanks!

Jonboy needs a website, where someone can easily click on an avaiable colors link!

What fun would that be.
We should start another thread, some kind of Jonboy Tank Support Group.

I'm sure you guys would hate it, but what would really be nice to have is for JonBoy (or his designated Customer Service Rep Strpr) to set up a lottery so that a few of us that can't stalk this thread 24/7 would at least have a chance of getting one. Winners could be be assigned based on whatever JonBoy felt was fair.. #1 winner gets first pick, #2 gets second, and so on depending on the # of tanks produced. Of course there would have to be a few rules, time limits for responding/purchasing before it defaults to an alternate, etc. I've tried (as others have) requesting to pre-purchase one from Jonboy, but understandably he's unable to take advance payments. His tanks are going to sell one way or the other, that's a given. But a lottery would be a nice way for his creations to reach more than just a select few.

And by the way, before the negative comments start, I'm just thinking out loud. I realize adding a lottery would only add more for Jon to think about when he already spends a good bit of his free time on these tanks; which is why I suggested someone else do that for him. I'm only putting my 2cents in since it was a bit disappointing to watch this thread for a week on the last batch, only to log in and find every tank was pretty much sold as soon as the announcement was made. Jon's tanks are popular, and they're gonna sell quick granted...would just be nice not to have to camp on a thread hitting refresh for a few hours to be able to buy one.

Might actually make things easier on him too. Instead of him getting slammed with a hundred PMs when he announces they're ready; he'd only get ones from those pre-approved. Would be alot less for him to have to sort through.

We'll see what he says. He's got enough to do already. This might turn out to be just one more thing. I would suggest for now to keeP checking the thread. Maybe you'll get lucky. You have to be here at the right time.

If the lottery was done I think it would take away from the prize feeling when you get one. I like the way it is now. If you want one you have to work to get it. It is kinda like a lottery that lasts 30 sec. now. You just need to be here when it starts.:)

+1 Im a weird one but I have to agree I kinda like the chaos of the current method. It's fun and you just don't know till it's all said and done.
