Great falls that is were i grew up and i got a new job working for 3 rivers communication in Fairfield. I grew up there and my mom is still there so its like moving home to me. Kind of neutral about the move part but really excited about the job.

Thats about 4 hours from me. So far it looks like you are going to get here before the snow, but it is rainy, chilly and gloomy here. But from where you are coming from, your used to the rain! Following a cold winter with more snow then I have ever seen here in 12 years, we had a pretty cold and rainy summer for the most part, so it is looking like we will have another cold and snowy winter. I don't know about Great Falls, but here in Kalispell there was a TON of water after the thaw... we have a private 30 acre lake on our property and it was up about 6 feet this summer and most of the fields were lakes this year!

Cool you found a job here they are far and few between here in the north west corner.

I want to move to MT some day too. Is Livingston a good place to live?

I don't know, never been, that is about 6 hours from here. I am way up in the North West corner, if I threw a stone in one direction it would hit Canada and the other would hit Idaho. I can say living here is a MUCH different life style... There are some things I miss like Pizza Delivery, not having to drive 45 minutes to get to the closest grocery store and mail delivery. But all in all it is beautiful here! Nothing like waking up to Moose in your front yard while your drinking your morning coffee or photographing an eagle fishing on our lake! We get a week or two each year that the tempature gets down to negative 30 or 40 degrees, I can live without that, but for the most part, I like living here.

Plenty of time then,,,,,good job for sticking with pv's....I know my first year just flew by... and I am still lovin it..
:)

Wellll, I started with the 510 with carts and dripping and got frustrated with it and went back to cigs, then got an Ego T type B loved that for a while and got frustrated, and back to cigs again, now I've got clear cartos and a KGO and I'm doing ok again. Still smoking 2 or 3 cigs a day, but it's going a lot better this time. I searched all the flavor threads and got some better juice too.

I kind of walked the same path and finding the right juice is what did it for me.

That all depends...do ya like wind ;) I'm 23 miles west of Livingston, it's a cool small town. Not a lot of work to be found tho... basically a tourist stop.

Oh, did I forget to mention the windy days!!! We are in a Valley so I always assume that is why we have the wind we do. I lived in South Florida for ten years and there are times the wind here reminds me of the hurricanes.

We are fairly close to glacier park, so it can get very touristy here as well, but that does not seemed to have helped the job market any.

Yup, unless you're a rancher you're pretty much at the mercy of the tourists for work. Granted there are lots of hunting and fishing guides/outfitters which could be fun work but only takes ya so far...
Glad to see another Montanan here :)
