Congrats, K*Rose ;) Glad it went to a member of Lavacorps. I know you'll take care of it.
Thanks so much, Gi. I hope things work out for you!
Congrats on the new tank, K*Rose. :)

Thank you! It all worked out, I missed out on Friday. But, now I got a gorgeous tank coming to me.

I think floridamale took the guts out of a CE2 clearomizer and used it in his new Magma tank. Seems like more trouble than its work, but it would probably work.

Thanks Ever1ast! Yeah... that would be too much trouble. And I don't need clears anymore with this tank. My favorite carto though is the IKV 1.6 clear. It has filler.

Any reason just drilling a hole with one of these won't work/last?

I'll give it a try tomorrow. Just wondering if anybody has tried it.

edit: I'm guessing maybe a razor knife rather than a drill.... ?

If you're going to try to drill be EXTREMELY careful. As soon as the drill bit breaks through, it's going to want to grab the filler and pull it all out of the hole. I'm not sure a clear cart will work anyway. The hole in the bottom cap is .364 +.001/ -0. I don't know what the size of a clear cart is.

So now we are tank twins and if you are using it for the P+ you can see how it will look, my pic is back a few pages or in the tank pics over at the vaca home. Congrats, it's very striking, feminine but not too futsy.

Here's a tip maybe you have come across yet. I slide an 18g blunt needle all the way through the air hole of a new cart BEFORE punching it. This helps minimize crushing the filler around the air hole and causing a tight draw. That tight draw will also make it flood easier as it's trying to pull air AND liquid from the tank instead of from the battery connector.

Here's some guys having fun with a FANUC robot. Who needs to go to the amusement park when you got one of these.

Here's one of the little ones. I'm actually working on 7 of these that pick and sort corn kernels for Monsanto.

Wheeeeeee! Somewhere there's a Safety & Compliance guy still having nightmares over that first vid. LOL!!
