question for the gang: if your juice is too thin, would that cause it to leak out of the connector end of the carto? i'm using Virgin Vapors (which by the way taste great!) but it seems to me the juice might be too thin? if i don't attach the tank to a mod, it just pools out of the connector end...

snoopy, I only use Virgin Vapor juices and have never had any problem with them leaking out the center tube as you are mentioning. I believe juices only leak through the center like that if there is a hole through it, from punching the carto too far. I've been usingb her juices in tanks for a long time now with no issue like that, so maybe try a different carto? Please let us know if you get it figured out! Heck, I have a couple of tanks that are always full of Virgin Vapor's juices and they sit with no leaking at all....

I noticed mention of a few cracked tubes.... here is a list that i came across at big daddy vapers of juices that have been known to cause issues with the tubes.... i dunno if it might be helpful to add it to the Lavatubes info page?

Sour flavors
Malic acid
Citrus acid
Cinnamon like "atomic cinnamon" types, not warm cinnamon like cinnamon coffee cake, this is okay
Wintergreen juice or flavoring
TPA ripe banana flavoring
TPA honeysuckle flavoring
TPA maraschino cherry flavoring
TPA cherry blossom flavoring
TPA root beer flavoring
Mrs. T's strawberry shortcake, snickerdoodle
KBV Hummingbird nectar
mimosa(because of the orange)
cola(because of cinnamon)?
Vapor Renu Teaberry, cherry vanilla (possibly most of their flavors)
Vapor Renu Mt. Dew baha blast and Strawberry limeade
Oil based/e liquid that contains essential oils, when mixed with pg/vg, creates esters which will crack plastics
E liquids that contain triacetin, used in vg liquids to carry flavor more effectively
Vapalicious Gooey Butter Cake
Nutmeg
Clove oil
Mt. Dew flavoring
TPA Cinnamon Danish flavoring
Sassafras
Rawrvapor Hawaii Sunrise
TPA Vanilla Custard flavoring
Tasty Vapor Cherry Cola

It's usually pretty quiet around here this time, but if anyone sees this, I am struggling to replace my cartos in my tanks. I remember reading something about pushing it through with aniother one and a tip? or something like that. I have really bad hands, so keep in mind I can barely get a new one on through the bottom cap when I first start out. I have to lube everything to get it in and make sure my carto is good and round beore I can get it in. I cannot get them out!!! Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Anything with a high content of Cinnamon oil or malic acid to sour up a juice can crack a tank, that doesnt mean they all will. it depends on the amount of it in the juice. I use a ton of green apple witch contains malic acid and my tanks are not cracking so again it depends on how much malic acid is in the juice or Cinnamon oil.

Edit; I've also have a full tank of KVB Hummingbird nectar mixed with a DIY Green apple that I have been using in my new Magma tank for over a week now and no signs of a crack.

I also believe there is tanks out there that are NOT made of a high grade of polycarbonate which crack compared to tanks made of a high grade of Polycarbonate which dont crack. Jon's Magma tanks are also extremely thick, I dont believe these will crack to easily at all.

Cat, I screw a 510 dead ego battery on the connector and pull them out with that. It helps as I have weak hands also. I also use one of those thin rubber grabber thingies when I need to take the mouthpiece off, or I insert a pen through the tube and "pop" it out like in the video.
