What is with the not using organic juices @ 5V ? Anyone know about why this was posted by Joanr, I dont get it ???

I think she said that because some people think Organic juices loose their flavor if you vape them at too high of a voltage. I, myself, vape all my organics in a LR carto at no less then 4.4V and the flavors are still awesome. :)

Morning Lavacorps! Snow on the way again. MWA, some organic flavors break down at higher heat and loose their flavor or taste burned over 4.5V. I've tried many at 5 or 6V and they just taste awful. Guess it would be subjective but many peeps say this. This is for the more delicate organic flavorings.

I vape loads of 100% organic juices at 5 or even 6v with a SR atty. If heat is what breaks down the flavoring, I would think you'd have be using a pretty LR carto or atty...

Yes Summer, we were talking about organics with dual coil cartos at 5 or 6 volts. Too much heat for some organics, just depends on which flavors, berry fruits are more delicate it seems.

just so i'm clear, what do you mean by organics? you are just referring to flavoring right and not necessarily 100% VG?

I believe Joan is referring to just that: organic juices. She stated that the -flavor- breaks down with heat. Not all vegetable glycerin is certified organic. And not all certified organic VG is added to all organic flavorings...

thanks you two! yeah, i've been seeing if i can vape "healthier" (lol!) juices so i've been ordering from vendors who only offer organic flavorings in their VG juices. that's how i came to find out that most vendors won't sell organic VG since it is not USP certified (which i suppose isn't necessarily a bad thing). i was also having these weird acne breakouts (can't blame quitting smoking anymore since i've stop more than 6 months ago) which i'm attributing to either PG or artificial flavoring in my previous juices. :-(

I've heard that PG can do that. I'm working on switching to all organic and all VG. The loss in TH is my only quandary right now. :\

Summer, that's my goal also. I missed the TH at first but the purity of flavor and tons of vapor kinda made up for the TH. Sometimes I cheat and add a tiny bit of everclear or PGA when I need more since menthol is not my thing. I also found out last night that punching 2 holes in the Boge instead of one gives me a lot more vapor production. Don't know why, it could be just this particular mix.

ugh, i'm so confused now... reading up on PG and according to most dermatology sites, it's actually used not only in most acne mediation due to it's being nontoxic on the skin but although helps moisturizes the skin. they also said that it's one of the safest ingredients to use in cosmetics (not that i use it)...

so maybe it's the just the artificial flavors that are the main cause??

Could be...or maybe whatever you are experiencing has nothing to do with vaping...just maybe?
