Hey everyone. I am so bummed it looks like the USPS, has lost my order of 6 boxes of cartos from GP. WTH, I am getting so sick of them. Last month, they lost a volt meter from SHANB. I wrote them about that and I got an email back that basically said, "we are sorry, but, oh well, nothing we can do". I'm peeved!

That stinks K*Rose! :( Rob had a tracking number on the order, didn't he? Have you let him know what has happened?

I just emailed him. It's not his fault though, so I'm not really expecting anything from him.
Oh, and yes he did have a tracking number.

I know, but maybe he can help you figure out what happened to them....Rob is awesome to deal with, so I'm sure he'll do whatever he can to try and find out what the heck USPS did with them!

I wish more vendors would use Fedex or Brown, especially for the more expensive items. I see some offer ship+insurance at checkout but not all do and when ordering a $200+ mod it would be nice to get some insurance and at least Priority Mail, first class really sucks.
I agree I would pay the $3 for insurance.

I am in the exact same boat...USPS doesn't know where my package is either.....they said with the cut backs on personnel that some things or stations are not being manned so they are sorry, but can't help. I had sent a package to Fla with a tracking no. on it. So sometimes the tracking doesn't even help.... prolly some post person is having a good time on the stuff I sent.

:(

I wished vendors would make up there pkg's and NOT use there company name on them but just a return address, I have had a few stolen myself and I've been dealing with my local postmaster who is doing a full investigation with the postal inspectors. I had a temp mailman for a week and in that week had 4 pkg's missing. Nothing against mailmen but there are some bad eggs in every big company and I believe mailmen vape now for sure and its happening with more then just my pkg's too. So no company name or use a different name with the correct return address I think would help us out, same with taping the Sh(*& out of pkg's I cant tell ya how many I have had that have been taken apart and put back together as well.

The postal service is really hurting. They are delivering mail to our lockboxes as late as 7PM, in the darn dark. Guess they carry flashlights because there is no lighting out there by our lockboxes. Something is bound to get mis-delivered.

My UPS driver knows us. We get packages for our aquarium supplies all the time. He knows exactly where I like my package stowed away if I'm not home. He always comes at exactly the same time of day. For 3 bucks more for ground delivery it would be well worth it to me to pay for UPS. But I also know that to have an account with UPS can get tricky for the vendors but not impossible.

quick update on running DC shorties (aka regular) in the Lava tank:

So I was lucky enough that my local vendor (and buddy! - E-Cig City here in Laguna Beach) had a couple and he pretty much just gave them to me to try out (of the 1.5ohm variety)... i used it last night and i'm a little on the fence with them. they do fit perfectly in the Lava tank so there's no fitting issues and didn't seem to get that hot even with chain vaping... TH is a little better than Boges 2.0, but i found the vapor production a little lacking on the DCs (compared to Boges that is, don't get me wrong, you still get lots of vapor)... also, it seem to mute my juices more when was running them on Provari at 3.9-4.0v... switching it over to my GG made the experience a lot better, but it was a much cooler vape. i was using organic juices at 100% VG, which hearing from some people, might not be the best kind to run on a DC.

long story short, for an extra $.50-$1.00 more per carto, i don't think they are worth it. i thought about ordering the 3.0 DCs, but based on my experience with the 1.5, i imagine running at even higher voltage will make my juices tasteless...
