For sure, I just think we were under-filling as per the old material Boge was using. I just re-filled this one using the spin again and it's perfect. I was thinking of digging out the cartos I trashed but...yuk, they are already burnt.

Edit: I have a sneaking feeling that the one remaining in my "bad" box will be ok also using the spin. Just gonna take more experimentation.

The reason I didn't think that was the reason was that it wasn't a totally burnt taste. It was a weird mix of burnt and strange.

Me either until I did the spin. My big beef was that after a few pulls it would start to taste bad and need more topping off and at that point the taste would never leave the carto even after topping off. The spin is getting the juice right down to the bottom where it would need to be extra moist. I'm also going to fill with a syringe down the sides first and then spin and top off and spin etc. This newer filler needs more juice apparently.

i used to only punch 1 larger-size hole in cartos, but now am using 2 smaller. i find it helps a lot more with wicking and keeping cartos moist.

I think so also, especially with thicker juices. The carto I got with my first tank had one hole and it worked well but when I put in a thicker juice not so good. I always use two now, I think it equalizes the pressure and gives a smoother draw.

They are quite a bit longer. I have a few of them. The added length bugs me a bit though.

I take my tube cutter and cut them down a little bit if I want to use them on something other than the GLV. On the GLV they give enough clearance to be used without an adapter.

A note on the Boge Cartos: When Boge makes the carto's they are making 1000's of them at one time which they in turn sell to all the different vendors. So, the bad cartos we're getting can come from any vendor selling the Boge cartos.
