I want a ProVari and more Lava Tanks. I'd like to get my stock of Boge cartos up higher and back up juice. I think that's about it.

Don't we all. Lol

I got my third Provari and I think I'm done. Also got 30 Boge Carto's and ton of juice, should keep me happy for a while ( don't tell my wife cause I don't have heat in the garage :ohmy:

i'm not sure, but i bet someone will come along who knows
Well I know this my be blasphemy but is there a way to use dual coils with lava tanks? I've never been a really big fan of regular cartos. I may have to suck it up and deal because they are just too beautiful to pass up.

Good Morning my Lavacorps friends!

Yes Case, buy the shorty dual coils, they are standard size, or if you use the xl dccs it will extend out the bottom cap but you can still do that.

yeah, that was me. :)

i've used the shorty DCCs aka "regular" DCCs (twice) successfully with no overheating problems on my lavatanks. However, i did not see much of a difference in performance to justify the higher cost of the DCCs.

I don't know where to buy them but the shorty dccs are available. Someone said this a kzillion pages back...lol
A longer tube is also a good option Laurel. The only thing was the shorty dccs tend to get hotter but with the juice surrounding them I doubt that would be a problem.

Snoopy, do you know where to purchase them? I think COV had them but there was another place also. I wanted to try them paired with my 6V mod. I've used the emdccs and the xl dccs in the past but had long since switched to the Boges. Just curious how they would do and thought I'd buy one or two.

I've used XL cartos in the tank and as others said, it works fine if you don't mind the carto sticking out the bottom of the tank.

I would just be careful punching the carto. On one DC I disected a while back, on of the coils was located about 1/3-1/2 up the carto. Might be right around where you want the hole.

I am quickly losing faith in boge. Even with the spin, I just got two more bad ones. I need an alternative. How hard can it be to make a damn carto that works. I will happily pay $10 for a 5-pack if they work consistently. It will still be cheaper than constantly throwing away juice and cartos.

Yep that would be the tricky part with the xl dccs. That's why I'm thinking the shorty size. But must be real careful like you said when punching the holes for either size.

Oh no CBA! That is not good! Were they doa outa the box or just have that funky taste?

Didn't Smoktech just come out with a LR standard size carto that was single coil? I think I saw some on Hoosiers website.
