I can relate. I work on a Military base. We start real early and the holiday weekend always causes crazy days.

I shouldn't complain....for every long weekend I work, I have the opposite weekend off. Getting through the long one is the problem though

I understand completely. My schedule was totally screwed this week. I feel like I haven't been home in days. Oh wait, I haven't. I only go back for 6 on saturday & then I'm off 'til wednesday. I'm trying to get a trade for tomorrow night so I can partake in the tank festivities.

One of the detectives I work with who shall remain nameless (because he's on ECF lol) got a case of "juice-flu" not long ago...He just couldn't make it through the rest of the day without going home to get his vape mail

I've had my wife bring my vape mail to the station on more than one occasion. Some times it's hard to finish your tour knowing what's sitting at home waiting for you.
