I was thinking about this whole classified Lava Tank fiasco and the more I thought about it, the more I started to feel badly for the Maroon (think Bugs Bunny) that sold it. I mean, $30.00!!!!!! That means so much to him that he'd lower himself to hide on a list made to assist decent people in acquiring one, then turn around and scalp it! $30.00 freakin' dollars!!! Really!!! Maybe he had his hours cut back at Taco Bell.

technically those cartos are disposables and usually when it gets tight, that means the carto is going bad... 3 refills does sound low though, could be dependent upon the type of juice you are using... high VG usually kills DCs pretty quickly from my experience and most of my DCs never lasted more than 1 week or so...

Hey guys. Quick question. I don't have a Lava yet but I've been playing around with my DCT for about 2 weeks now and the dual coils a getting a really tight draw after like 3 tank fills. Anyone else having this issue with the smoktech's?

Here is the way I see it. I understand the free market, capitalism thing. But if you ever want to be accepted in the True Lavacorps, you would never even consider doing what a couple of these people have done. I am one of those that would give a person the shirt off of my back when they are in need and I feel honored and privileged to be a part of this elite group that is full of people that would do the same. To me that is what being Lavacorps is all about not weather you own a Lava tank or not.

I guess what bothers me the most is the fact that this person filled a spot on the tankless list, and IMO solely for financial gain, and received a tank when others that would have really liked to have had one were left with the dreaded "sorry, but they are all gone" email. I just hope that the person that got the tank appreciates it as much as I do mine.

Amen!

Good morning, folks. Been lurking both here and the vaca spot for a while and have posted once or twice, but thought it was time to say hello!

Welcome Kaefo!

The Liquid Metal and the Molten Metal are similar but not the same, but no two are the same anyway. I believe Jon gets the different blanks from different manufacturers.

That looks sweet on your ProVari, Kev. One day I'll have a Liquid or Molten Metal.

I hope Jon makes some more of the Molten Metal, it's one on my list to get one day!

...MagmaTanks are bigger around. They fit perfectly on the larger mods, like the Silver Bullet..

WOW!! No way!! I didn't know that wolf! Thanks!! I knew they were bigger, but wasn't interested (because the lava was big enough on my ego). Now that I have a SB, I'll be trying for magmas!!!!

2-3 days on a batt and 2-3 days on a jonboy tank. Can't get any better then that!!!

SSSHHHHHWWWEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!

Most ECF members are good people
All Lava corps are exceptional people..........modeled after the USMC....the good, the proud, nobody left behind yadda yadda
a few...........well..........not so nice and definitely NOT Lava Corps material IMHO

I have seen Corps members offer their tanks for special occasions like a Birthday and many would trade even if they liked theirs to make a fellow corpsman happy as it was first pick. I am new and a lava corps in training and even I offered my tank in trade (though it was beautiful but not my number one) to someone who wanted it as number one. Maybe the Lava Corps has higher morals and principles than some. IDK. BUT.....IMHO we should get back to arguing over mac vs PC and provari vs ............well, ya'll get the point. Let's not give this any more space on our hard drives or on our morale.
Just my 2 pence worth.

*Ducks pie being thrown, nah they wouldn't waste THE PIE...........it's old vomittvapor.com juice*

well, i see someone bought that one on classies, glad it wasnt me. ill wait.

I don't fault the buyer at all. Lavas are hard to come bye and if he's willing to pay that price and he thinks they are worth that much (and I agree that they are works of art and Jon is doing us a great service charging what he does) that's only for him to decide. At least it's going to a home where it can be appreciated. I personally wouldn't buy it out of principal, not wanting to line the purse of the type of person that would do such a thing but that's me. My 2¢!
