Morning lava people. I have the day off but have some running around to do. Ya know last min xmas stuff. Plus this pig stye needs some cleaning. I'll check in later.
P.S.- All this drama is bad. Especially around the holidays. Keep in mind that it's hard to tell the emotion behind text. I have a friend that says some of the most messed up, demeaning things but because of his character very few people ever get offended by him. We call him the likable ....... (think Dennis Leary and ya nailed it!) Now if he came in here and acted exactly the same EVERYONE would think he's mean and nasty. It's time we give people the benefit of the doubt unless it's pretty straight forward and blatant. And above all else, "Can't we all just get along!"

I won't be around long myself, but did want to stop in and catch up. CBA, that looks like a sweet mod you got there. Jon, beautiful tanks as always. As far as the drama goes, there sure isn't any lack of it lately, huh? Based on my observations (as an outsider) seems like a good way to weed out new potential Corps members to me, keep up the good work guys
Everyone really does have the same chance as anyone else, new, old, Corps, lurker....all just depends on how fast you type a pm. People need to chill imho.

I got my first lava tank yesterday, its a beauty! But i dont know if its the liquid i use thats too thick (ave GJ) but I cant seem to get it to work right.... I get a few decet puffs before i get a disgusting burnt taste everytime. Basically whats ive been doing is taking 2 puffs, then pull on the cap til bubbles come out of the hole and repeat. Juice just dont get in the hole by itself. And whenever I get one of these burnt filler hits.... yuck!
What should I do? make the hole bigger on the carto? Use thin juice?

Do you have 1 or 2 holes in your carto? I always put 2 holes in mine and feel that really helps!
I have one hole, maybe i should make another. It came assembled and all, figured this would be ready to use as is.
Well, it does come ready to use, but with the thicker juices, two holes just work better IMHO. Jon only puts one hole in them in case someone uses thinner juice and alot of us just add the second hole.
I'm just going to say this once. I realize that a new person coming into this room might get the wrong impression about us. But if they would get to know us before they form an opinion or take what others say about us to heart, they would fit in alot better and really enjoy spending time with this great group. I seen people have their mods stolen and have had several people line up to send a replacement, others that were down on their luck and have things sent to them to help them out, and even some members give away their mods so that others could experience something that they otherwise might not have been able too.
On the other hand, this is a very loyal and protective group. If someone comes in here and disrespects (and if you don't know the difference between ribbing and disrespecting, you more than likely won't fit in too well) or try to exploit the generosity of any of the Lavacorps members and most importantly the Boss for personal gain, you better get ready to have your feeling hurt. I made a comment about a list a few days ago and got a nasty pm saying I was mean and hurtful from someone that wasn't even targeted for the said list. I am the kind of person that shoots it straight. If asked, I will lay it all on the line as I do not believe in blowing smoke up someones ..... I am strong in my beliefs, hold firm to my convictions, loyal to my friends, and I refuse to walk on eggshells in fear of what others might think of me.
