Huff, the Mercury is the color of that tank, no other difference from the other standard Lava's. The Magma is a larger around (fatter?) tank, that works well on Mods like the SB. Hope that helps ya!

Just looking at the sites that supply the blanks, there doesn't seem to be nearly as many choices with the magma sized blanks. That's probably the main thing.

Can anyone tell me what is a Magma and what is a Mercury as compared to standard Lavas? I know it's a newb question but hoping somebody can answer. I have a Mercury and it's GORGEOUS just wanted 2 know why it's called Mercury.

Not too many choices at BTW, but the other site has almost all the same colors in the larger blank. I would guess that there is just not as much call for the wider tanks, but I know I would like a couple more.
