What battery are you referring to here? I assume you are talking about a Reo grand. I am using the recommended IMR 18650 3.7V battery in mine. Perhaps if I used a higher voltage battery my Reo would get used more often.
I use a 4.8 Nimh which is this

you can also stack batts (though that is not recommended people do it anyway) but i like 5 v-ish so these work great for me in both the bombshell and the grand

questions about these tanks.

Why do most of you find these superior to other tanks? Is it how they look? The craftsmanship? Or do they truly work better than others on the market. If so, what would you say the differences are from others?

I am not questioning these tanks so I hope this does not come off as a negative post. I do not own one and I am just curious. I do not have much experience with tanks in general as I have typically used box mods. This is all new to me.

Also, do these even come in glass? Has that ever been discussed?

thanks in advance......

Do not know the next sale date, Jon generally sends them out on Monday's but not set in stone and he does send a tracking number.
Just curious... any word on the next sale?

Are the tanks which were sold Friday night usually sent out on Monday? Also, does JonBoy send a tracking number?

Thanks... really great group of people in here, hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday!

IMHO They perform better in a couple of facets:
1.) The way they vape, for some reason hit better than with a tank and a drip tip. I never get juice in my mouth even if my carto is flooded.
2.) It is much easier to fill, just pull the top off, add juice, align the air bubble to your punch/slot and push it back in. Takes less than 15 seconds, depending on how fast you can put juice in the tank.
3.) Quite sturdy, I have had two cherry vape mings break on me on a tank because my cats are cats. I am a bit careful with these tanks though.
4.)They don't leak.
Lastly, they just look bad ......

The craftsmanship on Jon's tanks is far superior to any other tank I have used (and there have been MANY). They do not leak and they are easy to fill and maintain. Without the ease of Jon's tanks, I wouldn't be vaping. The fact that they are works of art is just icing on the cake. And you can't beat Jon for customer service!

many reasons but my number one reason is I find the one piece cap makes it much easier to fill, fill to the tippidy top, and harder to flood. Number two reason: turned with a lathe and hand polished to perfection.

Ob, I'm gonna do my best to answer you.

As for why I prefer them, the list is somewhat lengthy. I prefer the way they look and appreciate the craftsmanship and time that goes into each and every one. I find the "built in drip tip" to be more convenient and comfortable. I prefer the way Jon shapes his tips over any DT on the market, and yes I'd say they vape better in general. The single piece design not only makes the mouthpiece more comfortable, but the airway is one solid piece from the bottom of the top cap to the mouthpiece. It makes for a perfect draw. In addition, almost EVERY other tank I've tried has some sort of sliding issues with the tank moving on the carto. I've never had that issue with a Lava, and I've never had one leak. I pay attention to the cracked tube list and ask people who may be more experienced with certain vendors, so I've never even had a cracked tube.

Just my humble opinion.. They are my favorite tank on the market, bar none.

When you say glass tanks, do you mean the top and bottom caps or the tubing? There hasn't been any discussion of glass, as of yet, to my knowledge.

Thanks guys. This is what I was curious about.

SD, I meant the tubing. I generally like glass better than plastic. I use a glass water bottle etc. I was just curious if he was/is considering using glass for the tubes.

Oh yeah, what is the other material he is using for the other stuff? I mean the cool/pretty parts.

I can tell just from the photos that these are really well crafted. In general I like handmade handcrafted things. You can tell they take time to make. Not being someone who is good working with their hands I always appreciate that kind of stuff.

I get the sliding issue thing. That would be annoying. I am assuming he has a lip of something that prevents that in these. Maybe I saw that in a video somewhere.
